DANGER OF EMPTY RELIGION. Thus says the Lord in Matthew 7:21-23: “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.” Jesus wasn’t speaking to unbelievers. He was speaking to you and me… and to those who call themselves Christians but live an empty religiosity. It’s possible to talk about Jesus without truly knowing Him. It’s possible to be a worker, a pastor, or a preacher… and still not have a real relationship with the Christ of Christianity. The illusion of religious appearance leads many to say, “Lord, Lord,” but they don’t live what He taught. Religion without a relationship with Jesus may even seem alive, but it’s spiritually dead. There’s no point in preaching, teaching, or confessing if the lifestyle doesn’t match the message being proclaimed. Beloved brothers, an encounter with Christ transforms lives. When Jesus touches someone, that person never remains the same. Bartimaeus began to see and followed Jesus; The Canaanite woman had her faith recognized; the Gadarene was freed and became a witness; Saul was transformed into Paul, the apostle. All were radically changed by the power of the Lord. All of these were transformed by the power of Calvary. When we surrender to the lordship of Christ, our lives are radically changed. The light of Christ begins to shine within us. It is not enough to change our minds; we must allow the Holy Spirit to transform our hearts. Empty religion says, "Look at me." But on the cross, all selfishness died. It is on the cross that we encounter the righteousness of God and exchange our curriculum for the life of Christ. My brother, my sister, I do not wish to hear our Master Jesus say, "I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness," and I pray to God that you will not hear these words either, for this is the true danger of empty religion. Amen? Amen!

DANGEROUS LETARGY. The world sleeps and God waits. Between screens and consumption, the soul becomes distracted and forgets the Author of life. Gratitude has become an automatic gesture, forgetting the God who sustains the universe with a single word. But breath, bread, and peace are not coincidental. They are heavenly gifts. It's time to wake up. To remember. To be grateful. The Bible calls us to awaken: "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you" (1 Thessalonians 5:18). This "in everything" is not only in good times, but also in tribulations, in waiting, in deserts. True gratitude is the fruit of an awakened soul, one that recognizes God's sovereignty even when it doesn't understand His ways. Thanksgiving is not just a date; it is a breath of eternity on the calendar. It is the divine invitation to rekindle the altar of gratitude, where hearts bow not before abundance, but before the Providing God. May our tables be more than banquets: may they be cenacles of prayer, praise, and testimony. May our churches cease to be stages for events and become gardens of encounters with the God of providence. For to be thankful is to live awake, and to live awake is to recognize that everything comes from God, through God, and for God. My brother, my sister, awakening is urgent. Spiritual lethargy is dangerous because it makes us insensitive to God's presence, indifferent to His voice, and ungrateful for His blessings. But there is hope: the Holy Spirit still breathes on the dry bones. There is still time to awaken, to repent, to return to our first love. On the fourth Thursday of November, the world stops, and our hearts must awaken. Thanksgiving is more than tradition: it is a call to profound gratitude. May you write down your blessings on this day, pray over them, share them, and worship with a surrendered soul. The world sleeps, but you need to awaken from this DANGEROUS LETHARGY. Amen? Amen!

ONLY JESUS IS THE TRUTH. Mankind and the enemy of your soul will continue to present "new" ideas and philosophies, as we see in Colossians 2:8 and 1 Timothy 4:1. There will be a continued push toward "enlightenment." But none of this is new, and none of it is enlightened. It's the same old story Paul is referring to here. It's nonsense. And the goal is simple: to lead you away from the Truth. The truth of the Good News: that there is only one God, and He loves you. That there is only one way to heaven, and it is through Jesus. Please understand this: a watered-down Christianity, infused with unbiblical ideals, beliefs, and practices, will result in eternal death. The idea of claiming the Christian name and paying lip service to believing in God is just another way the world and the enemy use to prevent the people God loves from having the best life and eternal joy with Him. Having a nationality does not make you a Christian or get you to heaven. Saying you believe in God won't get you to heaven. Don't be fooled. Follow Jesus; in Him is the fullness of God. There is no other religion, philosophy, energy, or belief that is the Truth. There is no entity called "The Universe" that is acting for or against you. It's just another ploy, the same one used in the Garden of Eden, to make you question the loving God. My brother, my sister, love the Lord your God and worship Him alone. If you still have doubts, Master Jesus answers you in John 14:6: "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." My brother, my sister, ONLY JESUS IS THE TRUTH. Amen? Amen!

FIRM HOPE IN JESUS. Romans 5:1-2 says that, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. This peace is not merely the absence of conflict, but a profound reconciliation, a restoration of communion between Creator and creature. Through faith, we cease living apart from God and become his beloved children (Galatians 3:26). This same faith gives us access to grace, the undeserved gift that strengthens us every day. Grace is not just the beginning of the Christian journey. It is support and guidance, even when we face difficulties, because we know that God works everything together for our good (Romans 8:28). With this faith, we live in hope of the glory that God has prepared for you and me. And this hope is firm, secure as an anchor, because it reminds us that there is an eternal purpose in every step of the journey. The glory that will come is far greater than any suffering we face today. And it is through love that we demonstrate that the Holy Spirit dwells in our hearts. This love is not just a feeling, but an action: it is forgiveness, compassion, and service. When we love as Christ loved, we reveal to the world that we have been transformed by our Master Jesus. Because God is love, we can become more like Christ, not only in moments of joy, but also in perseverance and suffering. Tribulations produce patience, patience produces experience, and experience strengthens hope (Romans 5:3-4). And this hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit. With this, Paul shows how suffering and hardships can have a transformative purpose in the Christian life, leading to spiritual growth and FIRM HOPE IN JESUS. Amen? Amen!

LISTEN TO THE VOICE OF THE SPIRIT. I invite you to open your Bible calmly. Examine it slowly, with an open heart, and ask the Holy Spirit to grant you wisdom, as James 1:5 teaches us. See what happens when you pay attention and take the time to listen to the voice of the Spirit. In the Gospel of Matthew 8:28-29, Jesus encounters two demon-possessed men. And when the demons speak, pay close attention to what they say and in what tone: "What do you want with us, Son of God?" Jesus had invaded their spiritual fortress, and they knew exactly who He was. Interestingly, one of the devil's most effective strategies is to convince people that neither he nor God exists. But when cornered, his fallen angels not only recognize Jesus Christ but also demonstrate their total subservience to Him. They are evil, yes. But not ignorant. What's more, they know their destiny. Also note in Matthew 8:29, where they ask, "Have you come here to torment us before the appointed time?" They know the time. They know there is a judgment. They know that the lake of fire awaits them, along with their leader, as Revelation 20:10 says. They are not mistaken about their destiny. There is no boasting before the Holy One. There is only fear and submission. In Matthew 8:30-31, the demons acknowledge that they can do nothing without Jesus' permission, demonstrating that they are subject to His divine authority. They know that Jesus is God and that their fate is already sealed. Therefore, we should not fear the devil or his fallen angels, but remain firm with Christ, who declared himself to have all authority in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18). Search your Bible and you will see that the Holy Spirit—the Spirit of Truth—is ready to generously give you wisdom and understanding (John 14:17). My brother, my sister, HEAR THE VOICE OF THE SPIRIT. Amen? Amen!

NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCES. John the Baptist is in prison, hears reports of Jesus' works, and begins to question whether Jesus is truly the Messiah, the Savior. Friends, if you read Matthew 3, Mark 1, Luke 1 and 3, and John 1, you might wonder why John the Baptist is doubting. After all, John knew Jesus was the Messiah even before he was born. He saw the Holy Spirit descend upon Jesus, heard the audible voice of God testify that Jesus was His Son, and witnessed that Jesus was the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. So, why this sudden doubt? Consider how Jesus responds to John's question: He doesn't rebuke him, simply pointing to the miracles performed and the proclamation of the Good News. Without boasting, Jesus confirms himself to be the Messiah by fulfilling Isaiah's prophecies—letting his works speak for themselves. But why did John ask this question? The answer is found in Matthew 11:6: "Blessed is anyone who is not offended because of me." In other words, we are blessed when we accept God's actions, even when we don't understand them. We must acknowledge Jesus as Lord, even when life doesn't turn out as we expected. John the Baptist was dejected and didn't understand why he had to spend so long in prison, believing that God wouldn't allow it. That's why he questioned it. Sometimes we do the same. But we shouldn't rebel against what God does just because things don't go our way. Don't let your problems separate you from Jesus (Romans 8:28). May Master Jesus always be our Lord, and may we trust in God's perfect plan. Because in the end, God's faithfulness guarantees you and me not only comfort today, but eternal glory with Christ. NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCES. Amen? Amen!
