There is the presence of God Almighty through His angels that goes with all of His children wherever they go; Jacob's case was a vivid evidence. The Bible has so many examples of angelic visitations and activities in the Bible; Abraham (Gen. 18:1-2), Lot (Gen. 19:1ff), Manoah (Judg. 13:9), Zechariah (Luke 1:11ff), Mary (Luke 1:26-27) and Peter (Acts 12:7) had angelic visitations. Angels have so many activities to perform in the lives of those who walk with God and stay in His will. They provide valuable information, guidance and protection to those who believe in the Lord.

Thank You for the gift of a new week. As we step into these new days, we commit every plan, decision, and expectation into Your hands.

May this week be filled with Your peace, favor, and divine guidance. Open doors of opportunity, grant wisdom in every situation, and strengthen us to overcome every challenge that comes our way.

Bless the work of our hands, protect our families, and surround us with Your grace. May our hearts remain hopeful, our faith unwavering, and our lives reflect Your goodness in all we do.

TOPIC: THE PROBLEM OF UNBELIEF

PASSAGE: MATTHEW 11:16–19

One great challenge of the Jews in the days of our Lord, Jesus Christ, was their doubt about Him though they saw the miracles Jesus did and read prophecies about Him. They did not believe Him as their Saviour because they were expecting a great military commander who would fight and defeat their enemies. It is not different today.

In a survey carried out among some Christians, asking if they believed Jesus would come back as He promised, some said “Maybe” while some said “He may not”. Their responses were not in the affirmative of their personal assurance that He is coming soon. That puts the problem of belief in Christ a subject of concern. But, as in the days of Noah, so shall the coming of Christ be.

Today, many Christians are not living in the consciousness of the rapture. They do not really grasp the reality that all will come to end very soon. Many Christians today do not believe in Christ; they see the Church as a place of their weekly socialization. This problem of unbelief is very subtle and is going unnoticed. Some even worship their pastors more than they worship Jesus Christ! I urge you to put the reality of the second coming of Christ into everyday schedule, for He will come at a time we did not expect like a thief in the night.

In order not to be caught unawares, you should always be prepared for His return, carry out the Great Commission He gave to us in Matthew 28:18–20; Mark 16:15 and Luke 24:47–48. Whosoever believes shall be saved but whosoever does not believe shall be damned in the lake of fire prepared for them. Believe.

NEW MONTH PRAYER FOR THE MONTH OF JULY

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the gift of a new month. Thank You for preserving my life, my family, and all that concerns me. As I step into this new season, I surrender every day into Your mighty hands.

Lord, let this month be filled with divine favor, uncommon opportunities, and supernatural breakthroughs. Open doors that no one can shut, and make a way where there seems to be no way.

Grant me wisdom to make the right decisions, strength to overcome every challenge, and grace to fulfill my purpose. Let every delay turn into divine acceleration, every disappointment become a testimony, and every battle end in victory.

Father, surround me with people who will encourage, support, and uplift me. Protect me from every evil, sickness, accident, and the plans of the enemy. Let Your peace rule in my heart and Your joy be my strength.

I declare that this month will bring good news, answered prayers, financial increase, spiritual growth, divine health, and lasting testimonies. May Your light shine upon me, and may everything I lay my hands on prosper according to Your will.

Thank You, Lord, because I know You have already gone ahead of me. I receive this month with faith, hope, and thanksgiving.
