Sobriety is the state of being sober, calm, cautious and watchful. A true and effective worship of God must begin with a sober reflection on our spiritual life, to assess our obedience to God's commandment and our state of spiritual maturity. A honest assessment will reveal our nakedness and inadequacies and will propel us to seek God's face for divine intervention. When we are sober, we're better able to perceive the truth and reason correctly about spiritual matters.

Worshipping God with a humble spirit makes us to perceive the truth on spiritual matters which sets us free from slavery and bo***ge to the world. It deepens our relationship with God and makes us to worship him with reference and Godly fear. We will also be delivered from legalistic decisions and satanic antics that can derail our salvation.

Hurt people… hurt people.

It’s a painful truth we don’t talk about enough.
Sometimes the ones who cause the deepest wounds are carrying wounds of their own.

Pain, when left unhealed, doesn’t just disappear.
It spills… into words, into actions, into the way we treat others.
What was once suffered becomes something passed on.

But understanding this doesn’t mean accepting the hurt
It doesn’t excuse the damage.
It simply reminds us to be aware.

We all have a choice to continue the cycle… or to break it.

Healing is hard.
Facing your pain is uncomfortable.
But it’s the only way to stop becoming what once hurt you.

So be careful with your wounds.
Heal them… before they turn you into someone you never wanted to be.

Speed is not an advantage when you are running in the wrong lane and in the wrong direction.

Sometimes we move fast, thinking we’re making progress.
We rush, we chase, we push ourselves harder every day.
But what if the path itself is wrong?

Because no matter how fast you go,
if you’re headed the wrong way…
you’re only getting lost quicker.

Not every delay is a failure.
Not every pause is weakness.
Sometimes slowing down is the only way to realign,
to reflect, to choose the right path.

It’s better to walk slowly in the right direction
than to sprint blindly into the wrong destination.

Take a moment.
Check your lane.
Check your direction.

Because true progress isn’t about speed…
it’s about purpose.

“Sorry” works when a mistake is made…
But not when trust is broken.

A mistake is forgetting, misjudging, slipping for a moment. It can be explained, corrected, forgiven.
But trust… trust is something built slowly, with consistency, honesty, and care. It’s fragile in a way people don’t always understand until it’s gone.

When trust is broken, it’s not just about what happened.
It’s about the silence that follows.
The questions that never leave.
The feeling that something once safe is no longer secure.

“Sorry” can acknowledge pain… but it doesn’t always heal it.
Because healing requires more than words. It needs truth, time, accountability, and real change.

Some wounds don’t need an apology.
They need distance.
They need closure.
They need peace.

So before you say “sorry,” ask yourself
Are you fixing a mistake… or trying to cover a broken trust?

Because the two are not the same.

A Prayer for guidance and protection

"Lord, as I stand at the threshold of this new week, I ask for a lamp unto my feet. Clear the fog from my mind and help me to see the path You have laid out for me. Grant me the wisdom to discern between the 'urgent' and the 'important.' May Your Spirit lead me in every conversation, every meeting, and every quiet moment, ensuring that my steps are ordered by Your grace."

Have a blessed week

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

This isn't just about discipline; it’s about direction. It suggests that the "bend" of a tree is determined while it is still a sapling. If the roots are set in healthy soil early on, the adult tree is far more likely to stand straight.

The Resurrection isn't just a historical event to be studied; it’s a current reality to be lived. Because the grave is empty, we can live with a "Living Hope."

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." — 1 Peter 1:3

This hope isn't "wishful thinking." It is the structural confidence that love is stronger than death, and that light will always outlast the dark.

CHRIST IS RISEN!!!!!!!
