If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?
John 3:12(NKJV)

Whenever Jesus was teaching,many people couldn’t understand his language; and when we are talking about his language we are not talking about Aramaic language, because that was Jesus’s language, but we are talking the deep meaning of what Jesus was talking about.

We see in this verse how Jesus was talking to Nicodemus, he spoke to him using the example of the wind, so that Nicodemus may understand, but he couldn’t, and then Jesus ask him that how could he understand when he spoke to him heavenly things if he could not understand earthly things.
Jesus told him that you are Israel's teacher, “and do you not understand these things
Nicodemus knew the scriptures academically, yet lacked a personal understanding of the Spiritual things

Here is the lesson of this verse the person who has the Spirit of the Lord is able to understand heavenly things and also the earthly things,
But the person who does not have the Spirit of God is not even able to understand earthly things.
That is why the person who is born again must be committed with the word of God so that he may be able understand spiritual things.
The earthly person can not understand spiritual things.
You are called to have the divine wisdom in you.
