It can be hard to love when our families continue to hurt and disappoint us. But when we focus only on how we feel, self-centered love can rule our hearts and ultimately hurt the people we care about. God calls us to a greater kind of love. When we love like Jesus and follow His teachings, we learn to love our families intentionally and to build stronger relationships with those around us.

It’s easy to think we need to have everything figured out to get where we want to be. But Psalm 23 reminds us that we have a Shepherd who knows what we need and leads us where we need to go. He provides for us, gives us rest, restores our souls, and guides us along the right paths. We can trust Him to lead us, even when we cannot see what lies ahead.
