Islam: The Key To Success

Islam: The Key To Success “The only religion acceptable to Allah is Islam” (Quran 3:19) For a fifth of the world's population, Islam is both a religion and a complete way of life.

بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمـَنِ الرَّحِيم In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Islam is not a new religion, but the same truth that God revealed through all His prophets to every people. Muslims follow a religion of peace, mercy, and forgiveness, and the majority have nothing to do with the extremely grave events which have come to be associated with their faith. "This is my wa

y; I invite unto Allah with sure knowledge, I and whosoever follows me with sure knowledge"

(Qur'an - 12:108)

Nothing should be too small for us: no good deed is so trivial that we scorn at it. We should strive to do every single good deed that we can, while keeping in mind that, as the Prophet (pbuh) said, "Allah likes most the consistent deeds."

Work together with your husband/wife to have the kind of marriage that makes your kids want to grow up and get married someday in shaAllah!

Our prayers are with families who lost their members in the ongoing heatwave across Karachi. We ask Allah to forgive those who left this world during this blessed month and have mercy on those still living.
Please remember that Islam is the middle path and does not want to cause you destruction. If you fear that the continuation of your fast may lead to your death, please break your fast and make it up later.
“If a person is overtaken by intense hunger or unbearable thirst, then he should break his fast and eat just as much as he needs to ward off that hunger, then he should refrain from eating for the rest of the day, and make up that fast later on.” (Al-Mawsoo’ah al-Fiqhiyyah, vol. 28, p. 73.)
Many of us experience this blessed month during hot summer days. Please remember to drink enough water during the evening and at least two glasses of water during suhoor, keep yourselves cool during the day as much as possible, stay in shade, and close curtains to keep your homes cooler. May Allah grant us ease, forgive us our sins, and accept our fast. Ameen. Dr- Bilal Philips
