🎉🎂 Happy Birthday to Our October Celebrants! 🎂🎉
Today, we were blessed to celebrate all the members of our church family who were born in October. What a joy it is to gather together, not only as a congregation but as a family united by God’s love.

In our church, we believe that every person is a gift from God. Celebrating birthdays is a beautiful reminder of the unique purpose and calling God has placed on each life. We are grateful for the love, friendship, encouragement, and faithfulness our October celebrants bring to our community.

As a church family, we strive to carry one another’s burdens, rejoice in each other’s victories, and walk together through every season of life. It is this love and warmth that makes our church feel like home.

May God richly bless each of our October birthday celebrants with good health, joy, peace, and abundant grace in the year ahead. May His favor rest upon you and may you continue to grow in His love and purpose.

Mark 1:1-20 | Trusting God in Times of Temptation

In Mark 1, Jesus begins His ministry after being baptized and spending 40 days in the wilderness, where He was tempted by Satan. The Bible does not describe every temptation He faced, but it reminds us that Jesus endured many trials and challenges during that time. Yet He remained faithful and fully trusted His Father.

Temptation is often about one key question: Will I trust God, or will I take control myself? When circumstances are difficult, we can be tempted to rely on our own strength, wisdom, or solutions instead of waiting on God’s guidance. Jesus showed us a different way. He chose obedience, dependence, and trust in God, even in the wilderness.

Just as Jesus called His first disciples to leave everything and follow Him, He calls us today to trust Him completely.

The challenge for each of us is: Will we place our confidence in Jesus, or will we try to manage life in our own strength and take control of our situation ourselves?

In the Gospel of John, we are reminded of the story of the woman caught in adultery. The crowd was ready to throw the first stone, eager to judge her sin. But Jesus turned everything upside down. He showed that the Kingdom of God is not built on condemnation, but on grace. Jesus said, “Let the one who is without sin cast the first stone.” In that moment, every accuser walked away. Because the truth is simple: we all need mercy.
The message for us today is clear: We are not called to judge one another, but to lead each other to Jesus — the One who shows grace for our own sins and offers forgiveness freely. May we be a church that lifts people up, not pushes them down. A church that reflects the heart of Christ: full of compassion, truth, and grace.

Brother F***y preached today on “How Can I Change?” from Galatians 6:7–10 — the principle of sowing and reaping. If we want to see transformation in our lives, we must sow into spiritual things: reading Scripture, prayer, gratitude, generosity and community. When we sow in the Spirit, God promises that we will reap a harvest in due season — if we wait, watch, and give Him time to bring the growth.

Our youth BBQ today was more than just good food and fun — it was a blessing.
Seeing our young people connect, grow, and enjoy fellowship reminds us how important it is to invest in the next generation.

“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” — 1 Timothy 4:12

We bless our young people and thank God for the beautiful future He is building through them.
May they continue to grow strong in Christ, united, confident, and full of purpose 🙏🙏🏼🙏🏾🙏🏿
