‎HOW WILL THE CHURCH AND CHRISTIAN FAMILIES SURVIVE THE TERRIBLE TIMES WE ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING?

‎Today, many so-called Christians and church leaders already fall into the following categories predicted by the prophet and apostle Paul! (2 Timothy 3 :1-5):

‎* Lovers of themselves (New Age teachings encourage this destructive behaviour and personality; parenting is no longer a blessing but a burden to be avoided....)
‎*Lovers of money (preachers of the prosperity gospel cherish this demonic teaching)
‎* Boastful, proud, abusive (listen to most of today's so-called prophets...)
‎*Disobedient to their parents (think of the behaviour of young people today and the total collapse of the moral structure of the family),
‎* Ungrateful,
‎* Unholy (sin is no longer a major issue in churches as long as you continue to confess the name of Jesus)
‎* Without love (without family affection),
‎* Unforgiving,
‎* Slanderous,
‎* Without self-control,
‎* Brutal,
‎* Not lovers of the good,
‎*Treacherous, rash, conceited,
‎* Lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God
‎* Having a form of godliness but denying its power!!!

‎Some survival strategies, especially for church leaders and parents (2 Timothy 3:10-17)

‎1. Do not associate with people who fall into the categories mentioned above (verse 5).
‎2. Hold fast to all the Scriptures (they all are inspired by God).
‎3. Do everything you can to teach, rebuke, correct, and train in righteousness (do not give up).
‎4. Imitate those who have pleased God in the past through their teaching, lifestyle, purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, persecution, and suffering.
‎5. Keep in mind that "all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted".

‎May God help us.

‎DIVINE PREPARATION FOR LEADERSHIP: From the Palace to shepherding a flock in the wilderness

‎ “Moses was instructed in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, and he was mighty in his words and deeds” (Acts 7:22). By the time Moses killed an Egyptian by striking a Hebrew slave (Exodus 2:11–12), he was 40 years old.

‎God sent him into the wilderness (as a fugitive) for 40 years to prepare him for his leadership role by stripping him of his Egyptian royal upbringing and molding him through a period of trials and hardships. The 40 years tempered his anger, built his dependence on God, and taught him patience and humility.

‎Can you see God’s good plans for you through your troubles and trials!

‎Listen to your loving God: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jer 29:11)

APOSTLE PAUL’S STRATEGY FOR PLANTING CHURCHES

“It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else’s foundation.” (Romans 15:20)

We believe that if church planters, apostles, and missionaries … followed this strategy of the Apostle Paul, we could reach the whole world with the Gospel in a short time and thus hasten the second coming of Jesus

From today until October 22, 2025, at GBEF, we pray for all MISSIONARIES who have left their comfort zones and are risking their lives to share the Good News of the Kingdom of Heaven with nations, peoples, and tribes who have never heard of Jesus Christ or who need strengthening and encouragement to hold on until Christ returns.

On 11 and 12 October 2025, one of our missionaries in the East Africa region had the opportunity to share the word of God with a small group of people in Kingandole, a rural area in Busia County, Kenya. They received the word of God with joy, were filled with the Holy Spirit, and Jesus healed the sick.

Let us pray together that Africa may rise up and embrace its destiny.

Psalm 68:31 “Messengers will come from Egypt; Cush will submit to God.”

Africa is not mentioned as such in the Bible, but it is referred to as Cush (the countries of Ethiopia, Sudan, and Eritrea), Libya, Egypt, and Ethiopia.

We believe that the time has come for Africa to rise up and enter into its destiny, to become the new home of true followers and worshippers of Jesus Christ and the cradle of international missionaries.

Revelation 7:9 “After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.”

Africa is home to approximately 3,000 tribes and more than 2,000 languages. Many people from these tribes and languages need to be saved and serve the true God in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Did you know?

Africa was a place of refuge for Abraham, Jacob and his sons, Joseph, Mary, and the baby Jesus! Simon, who helped Jesus carry the cross, was from Africa! An African woman became Moses' wife! The first eminent theologians came from Africa: Clement of Alexandria (150-215), Tertullian, who formulated the doctrine of the Trinity, and Athanasius, Bishop of Alexandria (296-373), who was the main defender of the doctrine that Christ was both man and God…

Join us at GBEF to pray for the destiny of Africa.
