Water is life, and a gift from God meant for all!

This world water day, we celebrate the impact of clean, safe water in restoring dignity, health and hope in communities across Africa.

Across Africa, many still have little or no access to clean and safe water. Partner with African Enterprise today to ensure that communities receive not just clean, safe water, but also the water of eternal life.

Join African Enterprise in being a channel of transformation, because when we give water, we give life! Your gift can be sent to eu.aeint.org/donate

Our Founder Michael on Ray McCauley's Passing!
'I am thankful to be able to count Ray as among my friends and partners in the Gospel ever since he strongly developed the Rhema Ministries all those years ago. I was very gratified once when he told me that my book, 'The Passing Summer', had had a very deep impact on him and enabled him to discover the socio-political dimensions of the Gospel. I think he also made it required reading for most of his pastors at that time.

To be sure, the Lord greatly honoured Ray's ministry, and brought thousands to Christ through him. He was also well regarded in some of the SACC circles which weren't always happy with the evangelical and pentecostal postures. It was also very interesting how he had such a great impact amongst black people whom, as you know, flocked to the main church.'

Our sincere and deepest condolences to the McCauley family from all of the AE family!

Today I visited Phereni school on the outskirts of Lilongwe with colleagues from African Enterprise Malawi and met with the new director.

Unfortunately it was school break so no children were around. There has been much progress since my last visit there and the school has now doubled in size to approx 1,500 students. There is much still to be done but more of that another time.

Then on our way back to the city we stopped off to visit a 2017 graduate, Lowness, she now rents a place for her business, has purchased a second sewing machine and trains other girls to sew. Her life has been completely transformed from being a former s*x worker to running a thriving business, helping others and now leading a Community transformation group in her area and leading a local church plant. There are many other stories similar to this of lives being transformed by the Word and Deed approach that AE has for ministry.

As we came out of her workshop we met Godwin, a former pupil at Phereni who was sponsored through the orphan programme that we ran for several years. He went on to complete secondary school and whilst seeking a job is helping his Uncle in the grocery shop next to Lowness.

In the afternoon I visited the AE sewing school were 20 students from various backgrounds and ages ranging from 20 to 54 are learning to sew! They will graduate in November.
