THE 7 FAT YEARS
OT-COMMANDMENTS
OBEDIENCE UNTO THE CHOSEN COURT
DEUTERONOMY 17: “10 And thou shalt do according to the sentence, which they of that place which the Lord shall choose shall shew thee; and thou shalt observe to do according to all that they inform thee: 11 According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach thee, and according to the judgment which they shall tell thee, thou shalt do: thou shalt not decline from the sentence which they shall shew thee, to the right hand, nor to the left. 12 And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the Lord thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel. 13 And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.”
What do we learn from this commandment “OBEY THE CHOSEN COURT” and the scriptures from which this commandment is derived.
1. There was not just 1 court, but every place, domain, area had a court which was compiled by people who were chosen by God.
Let us immediately also give the NT-version from these OT-verses. As the OT speaks about priests and judges, the NT has Jesus Christ who combines both positions in 1 person. He is High priest (HEBREWS 4:14-15) and upper Judge (MATTHEW 25:31-32).
2. What we still read is that the priest or judge not only say what is right or wrong, but also teach to prevent that mistakes will be made again … 2 PETER 3:9 not willing that anyone should perish but all should come to repentance … not judging, killing and destroying, but giving an opportunity for the person to do better next time.
This is what Jesus also told us in JOHN 12: “47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. 49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak”
3. The sentence of dead was in the OT and is in the NT for those who do not learn, who refuse to take the second chance, who do not want to repent and continue transgressing against the teachings which has been taught them.
OBEYING THE CHOSEN COURT IS A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEAD. It was in the OT and it is also in the NT. Continue in rebelling against God’s Word, the law of Moses in the OT, the teachings of Jesus in the NT had and have the same consequence … the first was physically also executed, while the NT-version may not be physically executed in this life, but has an eternal impact in the life to come!
It is possible to escape the judgment for sin in this life because men may not have seen, but for the eyes of the God, who is omnipresent and omniscient, is nothing hidden! Let us therefore not think we are smart because we are not caught in our sin in this life … God is patient, but on the day of judgment righteous!
Let us therefore turn away from every sin and OBEY THE CHOSEN COURT. Let us sharpen our conscience and grow in who we are, through the teachings of the priests and judges in our lives.
TODAY I PRAY FOR SOMEONE TO COME TO AWARENESS THAT NOTHING IS HIDDEN ALTHOUGH IT MAY LOOK LIKE IT IS HIDDEN FOR EVERY EYE HERE ON EARTH IN JESUS NAME
I PRAY THAT SOMEONE WILL BE MORE PASSIONATE AND REACH MORE FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS, FOR THE BORDER OF THE CLOTHE OF JESUS IN JESUS NAME
LET US THANK THE LORD ALSO FOR HIS GRACE AND THE MANY CHANCES AND OPPORTUNITIES HE GIVE US TO REPENT IN JESUS NAME

MIRACLES IN THE BIBLE
THE BITTER WATER SWEETENED OR HEALED
EXODUS 15: “1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea. 2 The Lord is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him. 3 The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name. 4 Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea. 5 The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone. 6 Thy right hand, O Lord, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O Lord, hath dashed in pieces the enemy. 7 And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble. 8 And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea. 9 The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them. 10 Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters. 11 Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? 12 Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them. 13 Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation. 14 The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina. 15 Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away. 16 Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone; till thy people pass over, O Lord, till the people pass over, which thou hast purchased. 17 Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O Lord, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established. 18 The Lord shall reign for ever and ever. 19 For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the Lord brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea. 20 And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances. 21 And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea. 22 So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water. 23 And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah. 24 And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
The Lord had brought the people of Israel out of Egypt. He just had done an amazing thing by the Red Sea. The enemy of before was defeated. God had done great and marvelous things. They praised God and not 3 days later they meet a small problem and they start murmuring again.
Conclusion: Faith does not come through miracles! But faith comes by hearing the Word of God, applying it and see that it works. There were only few who had faith amongst the people of Israel but the majority of the people did not have faith at all!
Here we must raise a question: How big is our faith today? Do we reach back for worldly solutions, traditional solutions, solutions we were used to before, although we know they are ungodly, … every time when our faith is tested, when patience is required, when we do not know how to solve something … do we go back to Egypt, do we start murmuring … or do we seek the face of God?
25 And he cried unto the Lord; and the Lord shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them, 26 And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.”
What was the bitter water? A problem! It can be any problem that shows up in our life for which we do not have direct, immediately a solution or maybe even have not solution at all.
What does Moses do when the problem was brought to him? He cried unto the Lord or he prayed. Until here I believe many of us are still with us.
What was God’s reply? There is a tree there.
This is where many do not follow anymore! Yesterday I still told during the Sunday School and during the preaching that many people go as far as prayer but when God gives them the solution during the preaching for their problem, they say: “No, how can this be?”
Moses prayed for a solution. The people were thirsty, but they had only bitter water. God answers: “There is a tree.” Then many will say: “What has the tree to do with our problem? The tree does not provide water.”
Scientifically I can refer to the Moringa tree which grows and grew in Egypt, Ethiopia, Israel, …and today is still used to purify unclean water from the Nile river … so there is a tree that can cleanse water …
But man had not this knowledge at that moment, so God gave them the solution! In the garden of Eden stood 2 trees in the middle:
1. The tree of knowledge of good and evil
2. The tree of life
Men had not the knowledge so the only way to receive life or solution for their thirst was trusting upon God, trusting upon the Tree of Life, which is Jesus, which is the Word of God.
Some things in the Bible can today already scientifically explained, but for many things men still has not yet a solution, but God has: the Tree of Life.
When the tree, the solution, was brought together with the problem, the problem was solved. But the solution could only be brought together with the problem when there was/is someone who applied/applies faith.
IF Moses would have said: “What has this tree to do with our problem?” The problem would have remained!
Today people pray!
1. It is good to pray, when it is not out of laziness. God may have given you the capacities to solve problems, but because of laziness you rather pray … I say: ”Continue praying! But God will not answer.”
2. People pray, but when the answer is given for example by the preaching of the Word of God the next Sunday … but people do not see the relevance of the preaching and the instructions which are given to their problem. They do not apply the instructions. I say “Continue praying! You have received the answer, but refuse to apply it!”
3. Then you have those that pray, hear the Word of God, God’s answer and solution, apply it by faith and their situation is healed, is sweetened.
I PRAY THAT TODAY SOMEONE HAS RECEIVED HIS/HER TESTIMONY IN JESUS NAME
I called the miracle “The bitter water sweetened or healed”, because Moses laid the connection with health in verse 26. The water was not only sweetened, but also healed and Moses tells the people: “If you follow God’s instructions, commandments, statutes then none of the sicknesses of Egypt will come upon you: I am the Lord your Healer!”
The tree of life stood also for obedience … Faith is shown by obedience even in cases where relevance is not evident!
When the Word of God is preached and demands obedience, stop asking yourself “Why should I do this?”, because than faith is corrupted and without faith we cannot please God and God will not please us!
I PRAY THAT SOMEONE’S OBEDEINCE IS BOOSTED THROUGH THIS WORD IN JESUS NAME

THE 7 FAT YEARS
GOOD NEWS
THE TRUE GOOD NEWS
EZEKIEL 1: 1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.2 In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity,3 The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him. 4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.6 And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings. 7 And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings. 9 Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward. 10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.11 Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.12 And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went. 13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning. 14 And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning. 15 Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces. 16 The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel. 17 When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went. 18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four. 19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up. 20 Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. 21 When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels. 22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above. 23 And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies. 24 And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings. 25 And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings. 26 And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it. 27 And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about. 28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.
Until here there is not much good news to discover.
We know that the people of Judea had gone already in captivity in Babylon because they had turned away from Jehovah as their God.
The Bible says in V3 that the Word of the Lord came to Ezekiel, but then till the end of the chapter there is no word spoken.
From verse 4 Ezekiel gets a vision about creatures which seems strange for us. The same kind of creatures we can read about in the revelation of John in REVELATION 4 from verse 7. There we read that when the creatures appeared, the 24 elders fell on their knees and worshiped the Lord.
The same we read at the end of this chapter … Ezekiel falls on his face and then the voice started speaking …
We know that God had stopped speaking to the people because the people had turned away from God.
How does God start speaking again?
By bowing for Him and worshiping Him. There was lack of worship or only worship of other gods which silenced the voice of God. While bowing down, expressing submission and acknowledging God’s presence, makes God to speak again. As Ezekiel bowed down …
EZEKIEL 2: 1 And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee. 2 And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me. 3 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day. 4 For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God. 5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them. 6 And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. 7 And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious. 8 But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee. 9 And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein; 10 And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
What is the good news? REPENTANCE
Many people want visions and revelations and prophesy … but reading the first chapter, I believe many will ask themselves “What is this about? What are these strange creatures”. Ezekiel had a vision, but what is a vision if no one understands the vision? Then the spoken message in chapter 2 is more clear and straight forward and good news.
As well in 2 PETER 3 as in EZEKIEL 33 we read yesterday that it is not God’s will that anyone dies. So when the Lord tells us that we are on the way to dead, then offering another way, the way of life, is good news.
But as we said also yesterday: this good news is only good for those who hear and obey!
The people of Judea were called rebellious people. Yesterday we learned that Ezekiel was called, as we Christians are called, to sound the trumpet, to give alarm that this is not the way!
The Lord said unto Ezekiel: whether they hear or not, speak and be not afraid or not get tired from speaking, because you bring good news to the people.
TODAY I PRAY THAT WE CAN ACCEPT THE WORD OF GOD AS GOOD NEWS AGAIN, RATHER THAN AN OFFENCE or AN ACCUSATION IN JESUS NAME

THE 7 FAT YEARS
PROMISES OF GOD
OUTBLOTTED SINS
ACTS 3: “19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord”
Peter and John just had performed a miracle by the entrance of the temple. The lame man jumped, danced and praised the Lord as he entered the temple. All people knew the man, because they all passed him so many times and gave him money. They were amazed that he now could walk. How did this come? The man pointed at John and Peter, but Peter pointed at Jesus as the Healer. Then Peter started his preaching to all the people in the temple, who had been in support of the crucifiction of Jesus, concluding with the PROMISE that their SINS WOULD BE BLOTTED OUT with this 1 condition: REPENT AND CONVERT.
We spoke already about this verse some time ago concerning the NT-commandments. Often commandments are going together with promises whereby the commandments are the condition for a certain promise.
What are the conditions? What does someone have to do for SINS TO BE BLOTTED OUT? REPENT AND CONVERT.
What do these 2 mean?
REPENTING is fundamentally defined as a change of mind or a 180-degree turn in one’s thinking and direction. While often associated with feelings of guilt or sorrow, the core meaning involves a deliberate decision to turn away from sin and turn toward God, to follow a better path of life.
In biblical contexts, the Greek term metanoia signifies this internal shift in perspective, while the Hebrew concept implies an outward action of returning to right living. True repentance is not only characterized by regret, but by a lasting change in behavior and a commitment to live according to revised values, prescribed by the Word of God.
CONVERTING is “to change religion, opinion or party”
So basically both mean the same.
The Dutch word “keren” which we find in “bekeren” means to turn, to change direction, to go in another direction, to go back.
That is also required of us, if we want the promise of God to BLOT OUT OUR SINS to be fulfilled!
This goes together with a radical change as said 180 degrees turning. Accepting that the way we go leads to a wrong destiny!
This Bible verse is taken from a story where Peter and John visit the temple to pray.
The story started with the change of the situation of the lame man.
Today there are also many Christians like this lame man. They think that they can do nothing and ask for the pity of others, while they too, in their condition, are expected to do the work of God.
What I am saying may sound harsh, but it is the truth. Giving joy to others by preaching good news to them will also bring joy into our lives, allowing us to leave or forget our problems and situations.
If we only meditate on our problems, we will only feel the pain of our problems, but if we stand up like this lame man and proclaim God's Word and do God's work, then we will transcend our problems. This is a turnaround or conversion in our lives!
TODAY I PRAY FOR THOSE THAT ARE PHYSICALLY OR SPIRITUALLY LAME TO RECEIVE JESUS NOW AND TO GET UP, TO ENTER INTO THE CHURCH, TO TESTIFY ABOUT WHAT JESUS HAS DONE, TO GO OUT OF THE CHURCH AND TESTIFY WHAT JESUS HAS DONE IN YOUR LIFE AND BECOME A VESSEL IN THE HANDS OF GOD IN JESUS NAME
What repentance and conversion or change did the people who came to Peter and John had to go through?
Just like the dictionary tells us:
1. Their religion had to change

Today many people come to church on Sunday and believe that this is Christianity, this is following Jesus. Do not deceive yourself! You have to change your religion, your service for God!
What are we doing for God today? What are we doing for God that He should reward us with the power of the Holy Spirit to pray for people and heal them?
Peter is clear. Something had to change in their religion. They had to get out of their traditional rituals that they were used to do and they had to start sharing the good news of Jesus.
Being a Christian is more than just going to church. Going to church is good but Peter was telling the people that there is more that we can do.
All these people who were amazed had also passed by this lame man and some had given alms, but they did not realize that they could have done more. They also could have done what Peter and John did: restore him and give him the ability to help others by speaking about what Jesus had done. He did not have to focus on his situation anymore.
This is our task as Christians: bringing people out of the bo***ge of the devil, focusing on their problems instead of helping others and telling the devil “You are a liar”, my chains have been broken!
I PRAY TODAY THAT SOMEONE WILL RISE UP AND REALIZE THAT YOU CAN DO MORE THAN JUST ATTEND CHURCH AND PROFESS TRADITIONAL CHRISTIAN FAITH BUT SPEAK ABOUT JESUS WHEREVER YOU GO AND WHAT YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED HIM CHANGING IN YOUR LIFE AND WHAT YOU HAVE SEEN HIM DOING. TODAY I PRAY RISE IN THE NAME OF JESUS
God has given us the Holy Spirit to help us to be like Jesus. And where Jesus was, people were healed. Changes were made in people’s lives.
I PRAY TODAY THAT YOU TOO WILL UNDERGO SUCH A CHANGE AND THAT TODAY YOU WILL COME TO UNDERSTANDING THAT GOD EXPECTS A DIFFERENT SERVICE FROM YOU THAN JUST COMING TO CHURCH ON SUNDAYS, BUT THAT HE EXPECTS US TO PROCLAIM THE GOOD NEWS DAILY SO THAT HE CAN GIVE POWER TO OUR MESSAGES THROUGH MIRACULOUS HEALINGS IN PEOPLE'S LIVES IN JESUS' NAME.
What is repentance and conversion still?
Changing insight, starting to see things differently, starting to see life differently, to get a different opinion!
The people to whom Peter and John spoke needed to change their opinion!
2. Their insight, their opinion had to change

The people did not understand what had happened because they had previously tortured and crucified Jesus. They had rejected Him who wanted to give them insight and lead them to another kind of life. A life in the likeness of God.
What are you rejecting today?
The Word of God is preached to you, but what are you doing with this Word? As long as we hear the Word of God but do nothing with it, we still have to repent and convert, our understanding has still to change. Our way of looking at life still has to change, our behavior has to change.
Apostle Paul commanded the Roman church in ROMANS 12:2-3 to accept a different way of thinking, a renewing of their minds, whereby they would be able to do the will of God.
Jesus said to Peter, “I am going to make you a fisher of men.”
Initially, Peter must have thought, “What nonsense this man is talking!” But that was because he had to come to the understanding that God had a great future in store for him, that he could catch greater things than fish, and that life still would bring great joy for him.
Don't reject your predestination for God!
God had to make Jeremiah to realize that he was a prophet. He didn't see it himself. He didn't realize it. But after a long conversation with God he came to understanding and his life changed completely.
I PRAY TODAY THAT YOU TOO WILL COME TO REALIZE THAT THE LIFE YOU ARE LIVING NOW IS NOT THE TRUE LIFE BUT THAT WHEN YOU FOCUS YOUR LIFE ON GOD'S WORK THAT HAS BEEN PLACED IN YOUR HANDS, YOU WILL KNOW TRUE JOY IN YOUR LIFE IN JESUS NAME.
I PRAY THAT EVERY BATTLE YOU ARE GOING THROUGH TODAY, WHERE THE WORLD IS STILL PULLING ON YOU AND HAS YOUR ATTENTION, THAT THE LORD WILL FIGHT YOUR BATTLE AND HELP YOU GROW SPIRITUALLY AND MAKE YOUR OPINION OF THE WORLD AND OF JESUS TO CHANGE IN JESUS NAME.
What is repenting and conversion through which our sins will be blotted out?
3. We need to change parties or sides

We have to make a clear choice. We cannot eat from both sides. We can't live a worldly life during the week and come to church on Sunday and believe we're good Christians.
The Bible says in REVELATION 3 : “14 And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write: These things says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God: 15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either cold or hot. 16 But because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth. 17 Because you say, ‘I am rich, and increasing in wealth, and have need of nothing;’ and you do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white raiment, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness do not appear; and anoint your eyes with eyesalve, that you may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Be zealous therefore and repent . 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me. 21 To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with me on my throne, as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father on his throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches .”
We need to chose side: Do we chose a worldly life or do we chose to follow Jesus. Both are fighting each other. That is why many people are not moving forward in life, because they are in the midst of a war between God and the devil. God wants them to follow Jesus. The devil wants them to follow him. Both pull on the person and the person does not move, unless he or she makes a choice. Chose for Jesus today and come out of that miserable life!

PSALM 119:72, PROVERBS 3:14-24, PSALM 19:10 … all tell us that God's Word is more valuable than silver and gold, it is wisdom that changes our lives or makes us to repent and convert.
The choice we must make as Christians is to accept God’s Word as counsel instead of worldly, ungodly counsel. We cannot accept both or accept one when it suits us and the other when it suits us. For that will make us lukewarm (onverschillig, lauw) and an abomination to the Lord, causing Him to spew us out.
All these changes are commanded to us so that we can return to a heavenly life in the presence of God when our SINS ARE BLOTTED OUT!
I PRAY THAT YOU WILL BE THE ONE WHO WILL WITNESS ABOUT THIS TOTAL REVERSE AFTER HEARING THIS WORD IN JESUS NAME
Repent and be converted in the name of Jesus, for this is part of our Christian being!
