THE LORD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME
"So if you walk in My ways to keep My status and My commandments, as your father David walked. Then I will lengthen your days. (1Kings 3:14)
Thank God for His mercy and kindness that has brought us to another beautiful day. When Solomon requested wisdom from God to govern Israel, to you and me in the society that we live in now it does not sound like the right request. But a lot of the time we approach God asking for what has already been given to us or which is part of the package with our salvation that is only waiting for the right time to manifest. The lesson from this chapter of the Bible for me is.
Check yourself very well before you approach God for anything.
Don't ask God for what you have not receive the wisdom and grace to handle.
Finally, remember, obedient is always better than sacrifice. God told Solomon, all I have given you will last as long as you walk under My status and in My ways. If you read the books of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes, you will see the regrets Solomon had later in life.
Ask for wisdom by all means, but remember the Lord always in everything you do. If you do, you will have it and a long and glorious life to enjoy it.
You will not make mistakes in your life that you will later regret in Jesus name.
As the Lord grant Solomon request, so shall He grant you whatever you requested of the Lord today in Jesus mighty name. Have a blessed day.
