Our General Secretary, Rev. Frank-Dieter Fischbach, met with leaders of CEC Member Churches newly welcomed into our fellowship of churches, strengthening relationships in London 🤝

He held meetings with representatives of The Church of The Lord Worldwide – Aladura, and Assyrian Church of the East, including Mar Awraham Youkhanis and Emmanuel Babatunde Gbogboade. Discussions focused on CEC initiative Pathways to Peace, dialogue with European institutions, and freedom of religion or belief ✝️

“I am thankful and excited about the membership of these two churches, one rooted historically in Iraq and the East with its specific theological tradition and faith, the other in Nigeria with its worldwide connections, founded 101 years ago. Both are now present in Europe and eager to participate in and contribute to the ecumenical life,” he said.
