Holy Trinity Brussels

Holy Trinity Brussels Welcome to Holy Trinity, the international Anglican church in the heart of Brussels. We offer four services every Sunday of varying worship styles.

Holy Trinity Brussels is an English-speaking Anglican church with a dynamic community of people of all ages and from every part of the world. Our Sunday Services are a time when we come together to worship the living God who is Father, Son & Holy Spirit. We hope to create a spiritual oasis where we draw fresh inspiration to make a difference in God's world. We value intelligent, biblical preaching

which includes insights from the riches of 2,000 years of Christian spirituality and discipleship. We believe that the whole of our lives are an act of worship to God and we design our services to enable us to make the connections between Sundays and the rest of the week. For all those who join us, we aim to offer a spiritual home and a place of belonging.

We pray together on the words of this Sunday’s collect:

Almighty God,you have broken the tyranny of sin and have sent the Spirit of your Son into our hearts whereby we call you Father: give us grace to dedicate our freedom to your service, that we and all creation may be brought to the glorious liberty of the children of God; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Bon dimanche! Have a good Sunday!

Last Saturday, we had the honour of celebrating the Eucharist with baptism, confirmation, affirmation of baptismal faith, and reception into the Church of England. Bishop Robert presided at the service, which brought together four chaplaincies: St John the Evangelist, Ghent; St Paul’s, Tervuren; St Martha and St Mary’s, Leuven; and our own.

Many congratulations and prayers to all who were baptised, confirmed, received into the Church of England, and to the person who affirmed their baptismal faith.

Deo gratias!

Celebrate with John and Susie Wilkinson on Sunday 14 June at all the services, on their last Sunday at Holy Trinity Brussels, as John prepares for retirement. John has served at Holy Trinity for 13 years as Associate Chaplain. Susie has been involved in many significant areas of ministry and we will thank God for their gifts and service. We will share finger food, drinks after 10.30, a feast after 2 pm , and drinks and nibbles after 6 p.m. Come and share with John and Susie as we say goodbye and give thanks to God.

Please pray for Holy Trinity Brussels: On 14 June, John Wilkinson ends his ministry with us after twelve years of being our Associate Chaplain. We give thanks to God for his outreach, ministry and care for so many people. Pray for him and Susie in this new stage of life. We offer to God the preparations for the Diocese in Europe Ordination Service to be held at HTB (28), and for all those to be ordained.
