A CHANCE TO IMPROVE OUR HEALTH
THE HEALTH FAIR, that held at No 19, Rue Jacques Hoton, Brussels, Saturday 21st March 2026, mainly for the benefit of neighbors and guests was truly an uplifting, enlightening and healing experience.

Trained volunteering members, worked with mostly health experts, of both the local church and sister churches in Belgium as well as a delegation from France, to assist the organisers.
You had to be there, for words cannot describe the synergy and the dedication of the volunteers at various stands, procuring joy through a mutually learning exchange.

FAREWELL PASTOR DAVID
Having served for about five years at the Brussels ISDA community, not only as a Minister of the gospel but also as a brother and friend, the members expressed their gratitude to Pst. David Carballo and his family, on Saturday 24th January, 2026, on the occasion of the farewell ceremony organised for him.

Special thanks to Pastor Tibor Szilvasi for organizing the heartwarming event together with the elders, board members, and other church members equipped with special skills.

Members salute Pst Tibor’s arrival in the company of his wife, a musician, to the Bxl ISDA church as ordained by God. His gentle and lasting impact within the community, including taking part in the activities of the church in the former building as well as playing a key role in the renovation of the new is remarkable. We could say that Pastor Tibor who takes over from Pastor David is one not appointed by man, but called by God in this particular vineyard for a timely duty. Otherwise, how did events guide him to this church at the end of his mission in Lebanon?

Meanwhile, the individual photo of Pst. David in this post was taken the day he preached his last sermon in the first sanctuary at Ernest Allard from which his community transferred to their new building in No 19 Rue Jacques Hoton at Woluwe Saint Lambert.

Therefore, the outgoing Pastor will also be remembered as the Minister who spearheaded the huge and daunting process of acquiring and renovating a new building, with big help from the Belgo-Luxembougoise Conference of the SDA Church.
