At the beginning of April, 21 airmen and airwomen motivated to support the Belgian Special Operations Forces began the Basic Air Enabler Course at the Commando Training Centre.
After an intensive 8‑week program, conducted in parallel with the Basic SOF Course for Cadre Para‑Commando candidates, 18 participants successfully graduated. They received their certificates from the Commanding Officer of the Commando Training Centre, in the presence of the Director SOCOM, the Commanding Officer 1 Wing, and their fellow peers from the 2024 and 2025 sessions.
Thanks to the support of many Special Operations Regiment and Air Force Subject Matter Experts, the Belgian SOF AIR community for both the 23rd SOF STOL Squadron and the 18th SOF LUH Squadron continues to grow.
