“𝘓𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘴, 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘴, 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘴.” 1 Corinthians 13:7

This past Sunday, we continued our sermon series Possess These Qualities, focusing on agape love as the ultimate safe space.

Paul paints a picture of love that provides shelter, security, and steadfastness in every season of life. Agape love does not abandon people when life becomes difficult. It protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres, choosing faithfulness even in weakness, vulnerability, and uncertainty.

In a world where many long for safety, acceptance, and belonging, the love of Christ offers something deeper than temporary comfort. His love bears our burdens, remains constant through every circumstance, and creates a place where hearts can be restored and strengthened.

“𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯: 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩, 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦.” 1 Corinthians 13:13

As we continue this journey, may we be a people who reflect the steadfast love of Christ, creating spaces marked by grace, truth, trust, and enduring hope.

Pentecost Sunday reminded us that God did not leave us alone.

He gave us His Spirit to guide, strengthen, and empower His church.

“𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘰𝘭𝘺 𝘚𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶.” Acts 1:8

This past Sunday, we reflected on the reality revealed in Revelation of people from every nation, tribe, people, and language gathered together before the throne of God.

In a world often divided by culture, language, and background, the gospel brings unity through Jesus Christ. God’s kingdom is not limited by nationality or ethnicity, but is made up of redeemed people from every corner of the earth, worshipping Him together as one.

This vision reminds us that the Church is not built on human similarity, but on Christ alone. Our diversity is not a barrier to overcome, but a reflection of the beauty of God’s redeeming work among all peoples.

“𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘩𝘪𝘮𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘎𝘰𝘥. ‘𝘏𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘪𝘱𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘦𝘺𝘦𝘴. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘯𝘰 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩’…” Revelation 21:3–4

“𝘔𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦.” Ephesians 4:3

This past Sunday, we continued our sermon series Possess These Qualities, focusing on agape love as a moral compass.

Paul shows us that love is not passive or indifferent to what is right and wrong. It does not celebrate wrongdoing, nor does it turn away from truth. Instead, agape love is anchored in God’s truth, shaping what we value, how we respond, and what we rejoice in.

Like a compass pointing to true north, love is meant to guide our conscience and conduct. In a world where moral lines are often blurred, the love of Christ keeps us aligned with His righteousness and truth.

“𝘋𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘰𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳, 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘰𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘢𝘸.” Romans 13:8

As we continue this journey, may we be a people whose love is shaped by truth, steady in conviction, and reflective of the holy character of Christ in all we do.
