The Feast of St Boniface: the choir rehearsed for a beautiful choral Evensong whilst some of us relaxed in the garden. We were delighted to welcome The Rev'd Stephen Murray who preached passionately about being a friend of Jesus. Afterwards we lingered for more refreshment: Pimm's and pannenkoeken! Our thanks to all who served the Kingdom on this special day. Ebenezer.

The Feast of St Boniface: at our Sung Eucharist we reflected on how to be a missionary church with a gospel to proclaim. In unity we rejoiced in our diversity, with many wearing national dress. Fr June and members of our Filipino community ministered to us in song about the love of God. Afterwards the tables were laden with a sumptuous bring and share lunch as we enjoyed our fellowship as a family of faith.

You are the Most High God, there is none like you! At our patronal festival we sang to the Lord a new song and declared his glory among the nations, we brought an offering and came into his courts (Ps 96). Thank you to members of our African community for the beautiful offertory.

A very happy St Boniface Day to all our members, friends and followers. On Sunday we shall keep the Feast!

Our patronal festival finishes with Evensong and drinks on Sunday afternoon. All are welcome to join us for this beautiful traditional service, especially our neighbouring brothers and sisters

The month of June is traditionally dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. On Ascension Day we recognised that Jesus keeps his human ❤️ in heaven. On Pentecost we experienced the 🔥 of his love in the coming of the Comforter. On Trinity we meditated on being drawn into a loving relationship with God in which ❤️ speaks to ❤️.

Sweet heart of Jesus, make us know and love thee.
Unfold to us the treasures of your grace;
That so our hearts, from things of earth uplifted,
May long alone to gaze upon thy face. ❤️ 🔥

Trinity Sunday at St Boniface: 'At the heart of all things is not solitude but relationship. Before there was a universe, before there were stars, before there was anything at all, there was the eternal life of God: love given, received, and shared. This has profound consequences. For if human beings are created in the image of the Triune God, then relationship is not an optional extra for us. It is part of our very nature. We are made for communion: with God, with one another, and with the created world entrusted to our care.'
