Sunday, May 31, was Trinity Sunday. On Trinity Sunday, the church celebrates the Christian doctrine of the Trinity, God in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

For the Filipino Catholic community, this is a special celebration in which Mary also takes center stage. They celebrated the feast together with the parish of Saint Bartholomew Merksem. It was a colorful mix of English, Dutch, and Tagalog (Filipino), both in the texts read aloud and in the hymns.

Everyone joined in the joyful celebration! First during the Eucharist in the church and afterwards in the Guildhall, a special meeting place for the faith community in Merksem.
