হযরত আবূ যর (রাযিঃ) হইতে বণিত আছে যে,একবার শীতকালে নবী করীম (সাঃ)বাহিরে তশরীফ আনিলেন,তখন গাছ হইতে পাতা ঝরিয়া পড়িতেছিল। তিনি গাছের একটি ডাল ধরিলেন,ফলে উহার পাতা আরও বেশি করিয়া ঝরিতে লাগিল।তিনি বলিলেন,হে আবূ যর!মুসলমান বান্দা যখন এখলাসের সাথে আল্লাহর জন্য নামাজ পড়ে তখন তাহার গোনাহসমূহ এমন ভাবে ঝরিয়া যায় যেমন এই গাছের পাতা ঝরিয়া পড়িতেছে।(তারগীবঃআহমদ)
