Mastering Your Emotions: The Sunnah Way 🌿
Anger is a natural human emotion, but how we respond to it defines our character.
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) taught us that the strongest person is not the one who can overpower others, but the one who controls themselves during anger.
Seek Refuge:Start by saying *"A’udhu billahi minash-shaytanir-rajim"* (I seek refuge in Allah from Satan, the accursed).
The Power of Silence:
If you’re angry, stay silent. Words spoken in heat are often regretted later.
Change Your Posture:
If you are standing, sit down. If you are sitting, lie down. Physically lowering your position helps de-escalate the internal tension.
The Cooling Effect of Water:
Perform Wudu (ablution) or take a shower. Since anger is often described as a fire, water helps extinguish that metabolic heat.
Reflect & Connect:
Make Dua and drink some water to ground yourself in the moment.
Taking a moment to pause isn't a sign of weakness—it's an act of worship and a path to peace. 🕊️
