হলি স্পিরিট চার্চ এর কাজ হলো, ঈশ্বরের রাজ্য বৃদ্ধির জন্য অবিরত কাজ করা। যে সকল মানব সন্তানেরা অন্ধকার রাজ্যে হাবুডাবু খাচ্ছে, তাদেরকে যীশু খ্রীষ্টের নামে আলোর পথে নিয়ে আসার জন্য সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি কর ও নতুন জীবনের পথ দেখানো। মহান ঈশ্বরের ইচ্ছা এই, যেন সমগ্র পৃথিবীর মানুষ অন্ধকার রাজ্য থেকে বের হয়ে ঈশ্বরের রাজ্যে অনন্তকাল বাস করতে পারে। এজন্যই ঈশ্বর তার একমাত্র প্রিয় পুত্র প্রভু যীশু কে সমগ্র মানুষকে মুক্তি করার জন্য প্রেরণ করেছেন। যে কেহ প্রভু যীশুখ্রীষ্ট কে মনে প্রাণে গ্রহণ করে, ভালবাসে এবং তার আদেশ সকল পালন করে।

ঈশ্বর সমগ্র পৃথিবীর মানুষের প্রতি শান্তি বর্ষণ করুন এবং আশীর্বাদে পরিপূর্ণ করুক। আমেন।

সেই অবধি যীশু প্রচার করিতে আরম্ভ করিলেন; বলিতে লাগিলেন, ‘মন ফিরাও, কেননা স্বর্গ-রাজ্য সন্নিকট হইল’। একদা তিনি গালীল সমুদ্রের তীর দিয়া বেড়াইতে বেড়াইতে দেখিলেন, দুই ভ্রাতা- শিমোন, যাহাকে পিতর বলে, ও তাঁহার ভ্রাতা আন্দ্রিয়- সমুদ্রে জাল ফেলিতেছেন; কারণ তাঁহারা মৎস্যধারী ছিলেন। তিনি তাঁহাদিগকে কহিলেন, আমার পশ্চাৎ আইস। আমি তোমাদিগকে মনুষ্যধারী করিব। আর তখনই তাঁহারা জাল পরিত্যাগ করিয়া তাঁহার পশ্চাদ্‌গামী হইলেন।
