We live in a time where attraction is everything.
If they look good, sound spiritual, pray for 12 hours straight, work miracles and say the right words, we’re quick to label it God’s will.
But let’s be honest.
Many have walked down the aisle ignoring the warning signs, the very visible red flags. Many even term their lack of a partner to the powers of their father’s house instead of looking inwards at their characters.
Maybe because the butterflies were loud, the anointing was impressive or even
because loneliness felt heavier than discernment.
And now they’re stuck.
In homes or partnerships that feel like prisons.
With partners who have no integrity.
All because they chose chemistry over character. Praying, saying and hoping that soon, change would come.
Listen,
Gifts can fade, attraction and chemistry do wax cold. Looks can be deceiving. Even spiritual lingo can be rehearsed.
But who a person really is will always rise to the surface… eventually.
It’s time to stop chasing spark and start choosing substance.
Let’s talk about building relationships that don’t just start well, but finish strong.
This Relationship Sunday, we will be looking at BUILT TO LAST: Character over Chemistry
This isn’t just a program. It’s a wake-up call.
