কথিত আছে যে বৃন্দাবনে রাসলীলার শেষে যখন কৃষ্ণ কুসুমশয্যায় সুখনিদ্রায় মগ্ন ছিলেন, তাঁর বামে শায়িত রাধারাণী নিশিশেষে স্বপ্নে দেখলেন, গৈরিক বসন পরিহিত এক ভিক্ষুক সন্যাসী রাধার রাঙা চরণে স্থান ভিক্ষা করছেন। কৃষ্ণ সেকথা জেনে রাধাকে জানিয়েছিলেন যে আগত কলিযুগে তিনি নদীয়ায় গৌরাঙ্গ রূপে আবির্ভূত হবেন, এবং কেশ মুন্ডিত করে, কাঁধে ভিক্ষার ঝুলি ও হস্তে কমণ্ডলু নিয়ে জীবের দ্বারে দ্বারে ঘুরবেন। সেই গৌরাঙ্গের জীবনী গ্রন্থ, অর্থাৎ "চৈতন্য চরিতামৃত" লিখেছিলেন বৃন্দাবনবাসী বৈষ্ণব ভক্ত কৃষ্ণদাস কবিরাজ। ১৬ শতকের দ্বিতীয়ার্ধের এই কবি রচনা করেছিলেন "ভজো গৌরাঙ্গ" কীর্তনটি।

বৃন্দাবন ভবন ২০২১ সাল থেকে কার্যক্রম শুরু করার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছিলো, কিন্তু দেশের সংকটময় অবস্থা দেখে আশে পাশের সল্প কিছু পরিবার এর পাশে দাড়ানোর সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে। এটাই বৃন্দাবন ভবনের প্রথম পদক্ষেপ আনঅফিসিয়লি। বৃন্দাবন ভবনের পাশে থাকুন! ✊✊
