প্রিয় দেশবাসী,
আপনারা গাইবান্ধা পলাশবাড়ীতে যে রামের মূর্তি বানানো নিয়ে যে প্রতিবাদ, মিছিল ইত্যাদি করতেই পারেন। এটা গনতান্ত্রিক দেশের নিয়ম।আপনার মত প্রকাশ করতেই পারেন এটা আপনার স্বাধীনতা তাই বলে রামের মূর্তির ব্যানার করে সেখানে জুতা মারা,এটা তো ধর্ম অবমাননা করে ফেললেন।রাম মূর্তিতে আপনার খারাপ লাগলো কিন্তু রামের মূর্তির ব্যানারে যে জুতা মারা হলো সেটা তো আমারও খারাপ লাগলো।এটাই কি আপনাদের শিক্ষা?
★যারা এতোদিন অসাম্প্রদায়িক চেতনার বিশ্বাস নিয়ে বড় বড় লেকচার দিছেন তারা কই তাদের চোখে কি এগুলো পড়ে,এগুলো কি সংখ্যালঘু নির্যাতন নয়কি!
আর আপনারা বলেন বাংলাদেশে কোন সংখ্যালঘু নির্যাতন হচ্ছে না।
★হিন্দুরা ধর্ম অবমাননা করলেই ওর বিচার হোক,ওর ফাসি হোক,ওরে জনতার হাতে তুলে দিয়ে পুলিশ দাড়িয়ে দাঁড়িয়ে হাতে একটা ললিপপ নিয়ে মজা দেখে।আর এখন যারা মূর্তির ফটোতে জুতা মারলো তাদের কি কোন বিচার এই বাংলায় হবে!
★তাই বাংলাদেশের সরকারের বিনিত প্রার্থনা রইলো আমরা সংখ্যালঘুর আমাদেরকে উপাস্য /বিশ্বাসের প্রতিকে যারা অবমাননা করেছে তাদের আইনের আওতায় আনুন।অন্যথায় যদি এদের আইনের আওতায় না আনেন তাহলে আমরা ধরে নিতে পারি এই ধর্ম অবমাননা সরকারের ইন্দনেই হচ্ছে।
★আর যারা হিন্দুদের প্রতিনিধি হয়ে সংসদে গেলেন তারা এবার পা চাটা বন্ধ করে, কারো গোলামী না করে হিন্দুদের উপর ঘটে যাওয়া ঘটনা তুলে ধরুন।আমাদের আগে ইন্টারনেট দরকার নেই আমাদের সুরক্ষা আগে দরকার।
#অবশেষে বলতে চাই আপনারা হিন্দু হলে আপনার ফেইসবুকে রামের মূর্তি ব্যানারে জুতা মারা হলো সেটা পোস্ট করুন।আর এর বিচার চান।
Dear Fellow Citizens,
You have every democratic right to protest, hold rallies, or express your opinion regarding the construction of the Ram statue in Palashbari, Gaibandha. Freedom of expression is a fundamental right in a democratic country.
However, while you may oppose the statue, displaying a banner of Lord Ram's image and striking it with shoes crosses the line into religious disrespect. If the construction of the statue offended some people, then the act of publicly insulting an image that is sacred to Hindus is also deeply hurtful to many others. Is this the lesson of tolerance and coexistence that we wish to promote?
For those who have long spoken about secularism and communal harmony, where are your voices now? Do these incidents not deserve your attention? Is this not a form of discrimination and hostility toward a religious minority?
When a Hindu is accused of insulting another religion, there are often immediate demands for punishment and justice. If that standard applies to everyone, then should there not also be accountability when Hindu religious symbols and beliefs are publicly insulted?
Therefore, we respectfully urge the Government of Bangladesh to take appropriate legal action against those who have deliberately insulted a religious symbol that millions of Hindus revere. Equal protection under the law should apply to all citizens, regardless of their faith.
We also call upon elected representatives from the Hindu community to raise these concerns responsibly and firmly in the appropriate forums. The safety, dignity, and rights of minority communities deserve attention and protection.
Finally, I appeal to all people who believe in religious freedom and mutual respect: speak out against religious hatred and support justice, regardless of which community is affected. Respect for one another's beliefs is essential for a peaceful and harmonious Bangladesh.
