Swami Rama's commentary is a bit more down-to-earth compared to Yogananda's. Although Swami Rama also talks about the symbolism of the Gita, Yogananda's commentary is far more esoteric and mystical. Swami Rama's approach is more practical and accessible to all.

অভয় পদে প্রাণ সঁপেছি৷
আমি আর কি যমের ভয় রেখেছি৷৷
কালী নাম কল্পতরু হদৃয়ে রোপণ করেছি৷
আমি দেহ বেচে ভবের হাটে দুর্গানাম কিনে এনেছি৷৷
দেহের মধ্যে ছজন কুজন তাদের হরে দূর করেছি৷
এবার শম্ন এলে হদৃয় খুলে, দেখাব তাই বসে আছি৷৷
কালীনাম মহামন্ত্র আত্মশির শিখায় বেঁধেছি৷
রামপ্রসাদ বলে দুর্গা বলে, যাত্রা করে বসে আছি৷
