Let us remember the people of Nepal in our prayers—especially the families who have lost their loved ones, those who are missing or injured, and everyone affected by this devastating situation.

May God bring comfort to the brokenhearted, strength to those who are suffering, protection to those at risk, and hope to every affected family. May He heal the land and restore what has been lost. 🕊️✝️

MISSION FORWARD | Discerning the Future • Building the Team

On 26 August 2026, Jesus Youth Bangladesh gathered at PIME House, Asadgate, Mohammadpur, Dhaka, for a beautiful day of prayer, discernment, learning, fellowship, and mission.

From 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, the day unfolded through moments of Gathering, Ice Breaking, Praise & Worship, JY Introduction & Testimony Sharing, the Main Theme “Mission Forward,” Group Discussion, Holy Mass, Games, Group Activities, Presentations, a Bible & Faith-based Quiz, Adoration, and Fellowship.

A special part of the day was the Group Work, where six groups prayerfully reflected on three important questions:

1. What are the things we appreciate as Catholics?
2. What are the challenges we face?
3. What solutions can we propose?

Through these discussions, we were invited to look honestly at our faith, our challenges, and the path ahead, while seeking God’s guidance together.

The Bible and Faith-based Quiz added a joyful learning experience, encouraging everyone to deepen their knowledge of Scripture and our Catholic faith.

And as the day moved towards its final moments, we entered into Adoration — a truly profound and grace-filled time in the presence of Jesus.

In the silence before the Blessed Sacrament, hearts were opened, lives were renewed, and many experienced the grace of repentance, confession, reconciliation, and spiritual renewal. It was a beautiful reminder that before we move forward in mission, we are first called to return to Christ, receive His mercy, and allow Him to renew our hearts.

From joyful fellowship to deep prayer, from learning and discussion to the peaceful presence of Jesus, Mission Forward became more than a program. It became a moment to pause, discern, renew, and prepare ourselves for the mission ahead.

Moments from our last Prayer Meeting!

Our new Full-timer, Bithi Kujur, led a beautiful session on “Personal Prayer.” It was truly heart-touching and a powerful wake-up call for all of us—reminding us of the importance of staying deeply connected with our Lord Jesus Christ through personal prayers.

May the Lord strengthen each of us to grow deeper in our relationship with Him and make prayer the foundation of our daily lives.

Stay connected. Stay rooted. Stay with Jesus! 🙏❤️

Yesterday morning, Jesus Youth Bangladesh Core Team members, were blessed to celebrate Holy Mass at Vatican Embassy with Monsignor Abel Toglo, Secretary and Deputy Head of Mission at the Apostolic Nunciature, and also hear beautiful and heart touching homily from our beloved Chaplain, Fr. Bikash Rebeiro CSC. It was truly a grace-filled morning of prayer, fellowship, and spiritual nourishment. Praise God 🙏
