🏛️ It is a question that goes beyond family disagreements.
Royal titles carry institutional and historical significance.
Therefore, any decision to change them would have consequences for the wider British Monarchy.
⚖️ If King Charles III were to act now, it could turn an already sensitive family matter into an even more public institutional decision.
There is also a strong argument for avoiding any step that could be seen primarily as personal.
It should remain constitutional or ceremonial instead.
⏳ Leaving the matter for the future reign of Prince William would allow the next monarch to shape the Royal Family according to his own vision.
As Prince of Wales and future King, William will eventually inherit this responsibility.
He will be the one defining how the Monarchy evolves.
🇬🇧 That does not necessarily mean Harry and Meghan should lose their titles.
The more important question is whether those titles continue to serve a meaningful purpose within a modern Royal Family.
This is particularly relevant when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex no longer carry out official royal duties.
👑 In my view, if there is no compelling institutional reason to act now, restraint may be the wiser course.
Titles should not be changed simply because a family relationship has become complicated.
💭 Whatever happens, such a decision would be remembered as part of the history of the Windsor family.
It will also mark a key moment in the evolution of the Crown.
