‘আলক্বামাহ ইব্‌নু ওয়াক্কাস আল-লায়সী (রহঃ) থেকে বর্ণিতঃ

আমি ‘উমর ইব্‌নুল খাত্তাব (রাঃ)-কে মিম্বারের উপর দাঁড়িয়ে বলতে শুনেছিঃ আমি আল্লাহর রসূল (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম)-কে বলতে শুনেছিঃ কাজ (এর প্রাপ্য হবে) নিয়ত অনুযায়ী। আর মানুষ তার নিয়ত অনুযায়ী প্রতিফল পাবে। তাই যার হিজরত হবে ইহকাল লাভের অথবা কোন মহিলাকে বিবাহ করার উদ্দেশ্যে- তবে তার হিজরত সে উদ্দেশ্যেই হবে, যে জন্যে, সে হিজরত করেছে।

আল্লাহ্‌ তা’আলার বাণীঃ (ওহে যারা ঈমান এনেছ!) তোমরা যখন সালাতের জন্য দাঁড়াতে চাও তখন ধৌত করে নিবে নিজেদের মুখমণ্ডল এবং হাত কনুই পর্যন্ত আর মাস্‌হ করে নিবে নিজেদের মস্তক এবং ধৌত করে নিবে নিজেদের পা গ্রন্থি পর্যন্ত। (সূরা আল-মায়িদাহ্‌ ৫/৬) আবূ ‘আবদুল্লাহ্‌ বুখারী (রহঃ) বলেন, নবী (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) বলেছেনঃ উযূর ফরয হ’ল এক-একবার করে ধোয়া। তিনি দু’-দু’বার করে এবং তিন-তিনবার করেও উযূ করেছেন, কিন্তু তিনবারের অধিক ধৌত করেন নি। পানির অপচয় করা এবং নবী (সাল্লাল্লাহু ‘আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম) এর ‘আমলের সীমা অতিক্রম করাকে ‘উলামায়ে কিরাম মাকরূহ বলেছেন।

Narrated by Ibn Mas'ud
A man kissed a woman (unlawfully) and then went to the Prophet and informed him. Allah revealed: And offer prayers perfectly At the two ends of the day And in some hours of the night (i.e. the five compulsory prayers). Verily! good deeds remove (annul) the evil deeds (small sins) (11.114). The man asked Allah's Apostle, "Is it for me?" He said, "It is for all my followers."

Narrated by Anas
'Aisha had a Qiram (a thin marked woolen curtain) with which he had screened one side of her home. The Prophet said, "Take away this Qiram of yours, as its pictures are still displayed in front of me during my prayer (i.e. they divert my attention from the prayer)."

Narrated by Anas
The Prophet said, "Whoever said "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a barley grain will be taken out of Hell. And whoever said: "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a wheat grain will be taken out of Hell. And whoever said, "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of an atom will be taken out of Hell."

Allah's Apostle said, "If any one of you improve (follows strictly) his Islamic religion then his good deeds will be rewarded ten times to seven hundred times for each good deed and a bad deed will be recorded as it is."
