LOVE
What is love ?
Love is a strong feeling of affection, care, and deep connection towards someone or something.
" But Ruth said, "Entreat me not to leave you or to return from following you; for where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge; your people shall be my people, and your God my God.
Those words were from Ruth to Naomi, her mother-in-law.
On losing her husband, she decided to remain with her mother-in-law, Naomi, who was also a widow like her.
Ruth demonstrated exemplary love and solidarity with Naomi.
The relationship between Ruth and Naomi shows that love can exist between the most unexpected people around us ..
And it teaches us that true love is selfless..
And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, to test him. "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?"
And Jesus answered
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
You shall love your neighbour as yourself.
Here are some ways to show love for God:
1. Prayer: Talk to God regularly, sharing thoughts, feelings, and gratitude.
2. Worship
3. Service: Help others, volunteer, and show kindness.
4. Gratitude: Thank God for blessings and guidance.
5. Obey God's teachings: Follow commandments and principles.
6. Share faith: Tell others about God's love.
7. Reflect and meditate : Quiet time for spiritual growth.
Showing love to ur neighbour can be demonstrated tru the following:
1. Kindness 2. Respect 3. Support
4. Listening: Be present and listen to their concerns. 5. Be considerate: Respect their space and boundaries.6.Forgiveness: Let go of grudges.
YOU DON'T BECAUSE YOU WANT IT IN RETURN, YOU LOVE BECAUSE HE WHO CREATED YOU IS LOVE HIMSELF AND HE HAS ASKED YOU TO LOVE HIM AND YOUR NEIGHBOUR AND YOURSELF.
