কোলকাতা টু লন্ডনের বাস রুট ছিলো বিশ্বের দীর্ঘতম বাস রুট। 1957 সাল থেকে1976 সাল পর্যন্ত চালু ছিলো এই রুট। আলবার্ট ট্রাভেল নামে একটা কোম্পানী এটা পরিচালনা করতো। এই রুটের দুরুত্ব ছিলো প্রায় 32669 কি.মি.। কোলকাতা থেকে লন্ডন পৌছাতে সময় লাগতো প্রায় 50 দিন। লন্ডন থেকে বেলজিয়াম, যুগস্লাভিয়া, তুরস্ক, ইরান, আফগানিস্থান ও পাকিস্থান হয়ে কোলকাতায় পৌছাতো। থাকা খাওয়াসহ বাসের টিকেটের মূল্য ছিলো 145 পাউন্ড। এই বাসে বই পড়ার ব্যবস্থা ছিলো, রেডিও ও গান শোনার ব্যবস্থা ছিলো। ছিলো ঘুমানোর জন্য বাঙ্কার, খাবারের জন্য ছিলো সুসজ্জিত কিচেন। যাত্রাপথে তাজমহলসহ বিভিন্ন দর্শনীয় স্থান ঘুরে দেখার জন্য বিরতি দেওয়া হতো। এছাড়া ও শপিং করার জন্য ভিয়েনা, ইস্তানবুল, কাবুল ও তেহেরানে বিরতী দেওয়া হতো।
