We fundamentally believe that a lasting world peace will not be initiated politically; it will begin first in the hearts and minds of each of us.

Until we have peace within our families and our communities and most importantly ourselves, no politician will ever have the power to bring peace. We believe all people should have the opportunity to reach their full potential, contribute to society, and have voice in the decisions that affect them. We believe the best way to achieve these goals is to encourage initiatives by those living and working closest to where problems are located; to promote collaboration among the nonprofit, government and business sectors; and to ensure participation by men and women from diverse communities and all levels of society. We are on the frontlines of social change around the world, working with visionary leaders and organizations to change social structures and institutions—so that everyone has the opportunity to achieve their full potential and have a voice in decisions that affect them.
