The Tulshidham Ashram is located on a hill in Nandankanan, Andarkilla, Chattogram. The former name of the present Tulshidham was Tulsi Das Akhra. When the Rambhakta soldiers came to Chattogram during the Mughal period around 1700 AD, they felt the need for their prayers and pilgrimage services and an arena for the pilgrim Vaishnavism. They also installed statues of Sri Sri Narasimha Gopalji and Mahabir Hanumanji in Andarkilla Mouza, which was established as Tulsi das Akhera.
