পূজনীয় ধুতাঙ্গ সাধক শরনংকর মহাথের মহোদয়কে উপলক্ষ্য করে সংযুক্ত আরব আমিরাত বুদ্ধা শারানা মেডিটেশন সেন্টার বুদ্ধ ধাতু বিহারে, রাউজান আবুরখীল নিবাসী শ্রদ্ধাবান উপাসক প্রয়াত শিশির বড়ুয়ার সদ্গতি নির্বাণ সুখ কামনায় ও শ্রদ্ধাবান উপাসিকা শোভা বড়ুয়ার নিরোগ দীর্ঘায়ু কামনায় এবং কনিষ্ঠ কন্যা মৌমিতা বড়ুয়ার অন্নপ্রাসন উপলক্ষ্যে বুদ্ধ পূজাসহ অষ্টপরিষ্কার ও মহাদানানুষ্ঠান।

On the occasion of the Venerable Dhutanga practitioner Saranankar Mohathera, a Buddha Pūjā, offering of the Eight Requisites (Attha Parikkhāra), and a Grand Almsgiving Ceremony will be held at the UAE Buddha Sharana Meditation Center BuddhaBuddha Dhātu Temple.
The ceremony is dedicated to the meritorious transfer of blessings for the late devoted layman Shishir Barua of Abarkhil, Raozan, praying for his well-being and Nibbāna bliss; for the good health and long life of the devoted laywoman Shobha Barua; and on the auspicious occasion of the rice-feeding (Annaprāśana) ceremony of their youngest daughter, Momita Barua.

ধুতাঙ্গ সাধক ভদন্ত শরনংকর মহাথের মহোদয় ২০০৪ সালে ২২ অক্টোবর গৃহত্যাগ করে প্রব্রজ্যা ধর্মে দীক্ষিত হন। উনার প্রব্রজ্যা গুরু রাঙ্গুনিয়া পশ্চিম শিলক জেতবন বিহারের আজীবন অধ্যক্ষ পূজনীয় ভদন্ত সুখানন্দ মহাথের মহোদয় প্রয়াত হয়েছেন। উনার পারলৌকিক সদ্গতি নির্বাণ কামনায় গুরু ভান্তের প্রতি অন্তিম শ্রদ্ধাঞ্জলি বন্দনা নিবেদন করছি।

The dhutanga practitioner Venerable Saranankar Mohathera renounced the household life and was ordained into the monastic life on 22 October 2004. His preceptor was the Most Venerable Sukhananda Mahathera, the lifelong chief abbot of Jetavana Monastery, West Shilok, Rangunia, who has now passed away. With heartfelt reverence, I offer my final homage and veneration to my revered teacher, praying for his attainment of a noble rebirth and Nibbāna.

তোমার বাড়ির পাশে যাকে তুমি বিত্তবান মনে কর সে অন্য বড় বিত্তবান লোক থেকে গরিব। আর তুমি নিজেকে দরিদ্র মনে কর কিন্তু তুমি ভেবে দেখ রাষ্ট্রের হাজারো মানুষের চেয়ে তুমি বিত্তবান ও সুখী বটে। তাই তুমি ধনী হওয়ার জন্য হতাশ না হয়ে, স্বীয় অবস্থায় সন্তুষ্ট থাক। তুমি যত ধনী হওয়ার চেষ্টা করবে বা হবে দেখবে তোমার উপরে সমাজের মধ্যে আরো শত লোক তোমার চেয়ে বিত্তবান রয়েছে। তাই লোভ ও অসৎ উপায় ছেড়ে ধর্ম ও মানবিক পথে চলো। একদিন বিজয় আসবে তোমার জীবনে।

The person you consider wealthy among your neighbors is poor compared to someone even wealthier. And though you may think of yourself as poor, reflect for a moment—you are in fact richer and happier than thousands of people in the state. Therefore, do not fall into despair in the pursuit of wealth; instead, remain content with your own condition. No matter how much wealth you strive for or attain, you will always find hundreds of people in society who are richer than you. So abandon greed and dishonest means, and walk the path of righteousness and humanity. One day, victory will surely come into your life.

ধর্ম পালনে মানুষের বা তোমার জীবনে সুখ বয়ে আনে।যদি তুমি মনে কর এই ধর্ম পালনে তোমার দুঃখ নিরোধ তবু হচ্ছে না। তাহলে মনে রেখো এখানে ধর্ম নীতি নিয়ম প্রতিপালনে ভুল হচ্ছে। এবং এর উচিৎ পথ সমাধান করতে তুমি মহা জ্ঞানীর বা পন্ডিতের কাছে পরামর্শ কর।এতে তোমার ইহকাল ও পরকালে সুখ শান্তি বয়ে আনবে।

The practice of Dhamma brings happiness into a person’s life. If you feel that, despite practicing the Dhamma, your suffering is not being alleviated, then remember that there may be mistakes in the observance of its principles and disciplines. In such a case, you should seek proper guidance and clarification from a great wise one or a learned scholar. By doing so, you will attain happiness and peace both in this life and in the hereafter.

This religious ceremony is dedicated to praying for the (paraloka sadgati) Auspicious rebirth and the bliss of Nirvāṇa of the departed distinguished devotee Late Babu Montu Mutsuddi, a resident of Rangunia Falaharia,
and to offer sincere prayers for the good health, well-being, and long life of the respected devotee Toki Mutsuddi.

পরনিন্দাকে তুমি ভয় করো না। কারণ এতে তোমার চরিত্রে ভুল শুদ্ধ নিরীক্ষণ বা দেখার সুযোগ হয়। তুমি যদি উত্তম বা ভালো হয়ে থাকো তাহলে এই নিন্দা তোমাকে আরো উত্তম ও শ্রেষ্ঠ করে তুলবে। বরং তুমি আরো উত্তম ও শ্রেষ্ঠ হওয়ার জন্য কঠোর প্রচেষ্টা ও প্রতিজ্ঞা কর।

Do not fear the criticism of others, for it gives you the opportunity to examine and reflect upon the right and wrong within your own character. If you are truly good and virtuous, such criticism will make you even better and more noble. Rather, make a firm resolution and strive diligently to become ever more virtuous and excellent.
