আমাদের সমাজে মানুষ অন্ধবিশ্বাসের মধ্য দিয়ে ইসলামকে আঁকড়ে আছে।যেটি ইসলামের সাথে যায়ই না।আমি একজন লোককে জিজ্ঞেস করি, "আপনি কি বলতে পারেন আপনি কেন মুসলিম?" উনি বললেন, "আমার বাবা-মা মুসলিম তাই। " আমি তারপর জিজ্ঞেস করলাম,"যদি তারা অমুসলিম হত?" কিছুক্ষণ চুপ থাকবার উনি বললেন, "হয়তো আমিও অমুসলিমই থাকতাম।" তাহলে দুটো পরিচয়ের মধ্যে পার্থক্য রইল কি? যারা অমুসলিম পরিবারে জন্মেছে তাদেরই বা কি দোষ আর যারা মুসলিম পরিবারে তারাই বা কেনো বাড়তি সু্যোগ পাবে? ইমান যার মানে সাক্ষ্য দেয়া অর্থাৎ বিশ্বাসের বিপরীতে যুক্তি থাকা। তাই ইসলাম এই ধরনের মুসলিমদের অমুসলিমদের চেয়ে আলাদা করে দেখে না। নিম্নের আয়াত তার প্রমাণ।
People around us blindly just believe them to be Muslim.I asked a man,"Can you say why are you a Muslim?" He said,"Because my parents are Muslims".I asked then,"If they would be Non-Muslims?" After a bit silence he opened his mouth,"I may have been Non-Musim too." Now, what is the difference between a Muslim & a Non-Muslim?Is it their fault to be born as Non-Muslims and is it their privilege who are not? Iman, to testify is to have evidence of something you believe. And that's why Quran has condemned his type of Muslim as no better than a Non-Muslim. See below for references.
ইউনুস 10:36
وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ اَكْثَرُهُمْ اِلَّا ظَنًّاؕ اِنَّ الظَّنَّ لَا يُغْنِىْ مِنَ الْحَـقِّ شَيْــًٔاؕ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ عَلِيْمٌۢ بِمَا يَفْعَلُوْنَ
Bengali - Mujibur Rahman:
আর তাদের অধিকাংশ লোক শুধু অলীক কল্পনার পিছনে চলছে; নিশ্চয়ই অলীক কল্পনা বাস্তব ব্যাপারে মোটেই ফলপ্রসু নয়; নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ সবই জানেন, যা কিছু তারা করছে ।
English - Sahih International:
And most of them follow not except assumption. Indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do.
আল-হ়াজ্জ 22:11
وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَنْ يَّعْبُدُ اللّٰهَ عَلٰى حَرْفٍۚ فَاِنْ اَصَابَهٗ خَيْرٌ اۨطْمَاَنَّ بِهٖۚ وَاِنْ اَصَابَتْهُ فِتْنَةُ اۨنقَلَبَ عَلٰى وَجْهِهٖۚ* خَسِرَ الدُّنْيَا وَالْاٰخِرَةَؕ ذٰلِكَ هُوَ الْخُسْرَانُ الْمُبِيْنُ
Bengali - Mujibur Rahman
মানুষের মধ্যে কেহ কেহ আল্লাহর ইবাদাত করে দ্বিধার সাথে; তার মঙ্গল হলে তাতে তার চিত্ত প্রশস্ত হয় এবং কোন বিপর্যয় ঘটলে সে তার পূর্বাবস্থায় ফিরে যায়। সে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয় দুনিয়ায় ও আখিরাতে; এটাইতো সুস্পষ্ট ক্ষতি।
English - Sahih International
And of the people is he who worships Allah on an edge. If he is touched by good, he is reassured by it; but if he is struck by trial, he turns on his face [to the other direction]. He has lost [this] world and the Hereafter. That is what is the manifest loss.
আন-নাহ্ল 16:111
يَوْمَ تَاْتِىْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ تُجَادِلُ عَنْ نَّفْسِهَا وَتُوَفّٰى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّا عَمِلَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُوْنَ
Bengali - Mujibur Rahman
স্মরণ কর সেই দিনকে যেদিন আত্মপক্ষ সমর্থনে যুক্তি উপস্থিত করতে আসবে প্রত্যেক ব্যক্তি এবং প্রত্যেককে তার কৃতকর্মের পূর্ণ ফল দেয়া হবে এবং তাদের প্রতি যুলম করা হবেনা।
English - Sahih International
On the Day when every soul will come disputing for itself, and every soul will be fully compensated for what it did, and they will not be wronged.
আল-আনকাবূত 29:2
اَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ اَنْ يُّتْرَكُوْۤا اَنْ يَّقُوْلُوْۤا اٰمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَـنُوْنَ
Bengali - Mujibur Rahman
মানুষ কি মনে করেছে যে, ‘আমরা ঈমান এনেছি’ এ কথা বললেই তাদেরকে অব্যাহতি দেয়া হবে এবং তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করা হবেনা?
English - Sahih International
Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried?
আলি ‘ইমরান 3:23-24
اَلَمْ تَرَ اِلَى الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوْا نَصِيْبًا مِّنَ الْكِتٰبِ يُدْعَوْنَ اِلٰى كِتٰبِ اللّٰهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلّٰى فَرِيْقٌ مِّنْهُمْ وَهُمْ مُّعْرِضُوْنَ
ذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ قَالُوْا لَنْ تَمَسَّنَا النَّارُ اِلَّاۤ اَيَّامًا مَّعْدُوْدٰتٍ وَغَرَّهُمْ فِىْ دِيْنِهِمْ مَّا كَانُوْا يَفْتَرُوْنَ

তুমি কি তাদের প্রতি লক্ষ্য করনি যাদেরকে গ্রন্থের একাংশ প্রদত্ত হয়েছে? তাদেরকে গ্রন্থের দিকে আহবান করা হয়েছে যেন এটা তাদের মধ্যে মীমাংসা করে, অতঃপর তাদের একদল প্রতিগমন করল এবং তারা প্রতিগমনকারী।
এটা এ জন্য যে, তারা বলেঃ নির্দিষ্ট সংখ্যক দিন ব্যতীত জাহান্নামের আগুন আমাদেরকে স্পর্শ করবেনা; এবং তারা যা স্থির করেছে, তাদের ধর্ম বিষয়ে ওটা তাদেরকে প্রতারিত করেছে।
English - Sahih International
Do you not consider, [O Muhammad], those who were given a portion of the Scripture? They are invited to the Scripture of Allah that it should arbitrate between them; then a party of them turns away, and they are refusing.
That is because they say, "Never will the Fire touch us except for [a few] numbered days," and [because] they were deluded in their religion by what they were inventing.
(3:23-24:-As Quran is a guidance for the human kind and way for Muslims. So, this commandment of the Quran is also a teaching for us those who are careless and knowledge less about our life style or way of life -Ddin)
