I've seen lot of people struggling to get to their jaynamaz. It's not like they don't want to sit before Allah and say whatever is in there heart, they do want it with all their soul, they want to pray, they want to spread their musalla and cry for hours on it. But they can't or more specifically they don't. eventually they feel guilty about it and the cycle continues.
If you're someone who prays at least a day, I hope Hidayah isn't too far for you. But if you're still running through that ephemeral distance between the balcony where you sit depressed all night and your musalla, and you wholeheartedly want to pray and cry to your Creator, trust me, you're already someone beloved to Him. He loves each of those servants of Him who dropped a tear from their eyes for Him in their entire life. And He even promises that who ever shed a drop of tear for Him, is never going to be thrown to the eternal flames, moreover Jahannam becomes 'Haram' for them.
You see there are 5 Pillars that Islam stands on. We see Salah as the most important part of Islam, plus it is even mentioned in the Hadith that Salah or Namaaz is the key to Jannah. But more often we forget that Kalima comes before Salah.
Kalima means a statement, a statement that you make through your tongue and believe with all of your heart. Muslims state that, "There is no other God except Allah and Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam is our Prophet". But again, we forget one most important part. Faith. We must put faith to this statement whenever we're saying it.
Faith strongly depends on the relationship you maintain. So it's pretty obvious that the relationship between you and Allah defines your faith. You see, we're on a run. A short run that starts when we were born and ends in grave. And throughout this race, we forget the Almighty who blessed us with this life. We could do so many things for our friends, lovers, beloveds, parents, we tell them that I'm gonna live for you, I'd die for you, but we forget the eternally existing God who created us. Tell me one thing, "All these people you are concerned about, did they create you?" (Quote by Rumi) Look, we're never restrained from showing love to our favorite ones or do all the things in the world to make them happy. But it is even more important to hold that good relationship with Allah that is going to lead us to the paradise He promised, and yes, with those ones who we loved on this earth.
We might not be praying Salah, we might not be fasting but whenever we're feeling guilty about it, we must turn back to Allah and say it. If you look through the regular duas during a Salah you'll notice that Salah is as if you're talking to Allah. That's what Allah wants. That's what He wants. He wants you to talk to him. He wants you to tell Him whatever you need. And He promised to bestow the believers with so much, so much and so much that they couldn't even imagine. But before we get to that part of achieving something from Allah's never-ending treasury, we have to believe that Allah is with us, watching us, and all we need is to turn back to Him and tell Him that we want this, we want to be nearest to Him. Even if we've lost everything and moving towards nihilism, we still have to make a leap of faith. Eventually you'll pray Salah, you'll fast, you'll do all the things He likes, you don't have to run after Hidayah, Hidayah would come looking for you. Trust me, it might take time, but it will work.
পাখি আকাশে উড়ার আগে খুব জোরে জোরে ডানা ঝাপটাতে থাকে। ঘরের খড়কুটোর বাইরে গিয়ে, কিনারে বসে আকাশের দিকে তাকিয়ে বারংবার চেষ্টা করতে থাকে শুন্যের দিকে ডানা মেলে ওড়ার। আর তার ডানা ঝাপটানোর এই ব্যপ্তি শুন্যে একটা ঝাপ মারার মধ্য দিয়ে শেষ হয়। আর এখানেই মুক্তির শুরু।
Enough of flapping winds, make that leap of faith.
