Sā Pita Wesleyan Methodist Church "Not just a Church, but a family" Here, every individual is embraced, valued, and supported, regardless of age, background, or language.

Welcome to the vibrant online community of Sā Pita, where faith, fellowship, and family converge in the heart of Zillmere, Brisbane, Australia! 🌟

As a proud member of the Wesleyan Methodist Church of Australia, we stand tall as a beacon of Tongan heritage and Christian values, serving our diverse congregation with unwavering dedication. 🇹🇴

At Sā Pita, we believe in embodying our faith through ac

tion, actively engaging with and uplifting the Greater Brisbane community. Through our various ministries and teams, including our renowned Brass Band, uplifting Worship Team, nurturing Mens & Womens Fellowship groups, engaging Sunday School, and dynamic Youth Group, we strive to create a space where everyone can find their place to grow and thrive. 🎺🎶🙏

An old motto, "Not just a church, but a family," encapsulates the essence of who we are. With services conducted in both Tongan and English, we ensure that all feel welcome and included in our loving community. 💒

As we journey together in faith, let us reflect on the words of Psalm 133:1, which beautifully captures the spirit of unity and harmony that defines Sā Pita:

"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"

Join us as we continue to spread love, hope, and the transformative power of God's Word. Together, we are not just a church, but a family, bound by faith and fueled by love. ❤️🙌

Jairus is a good father.

We were reminded of a father’s love, faith, and willingness to bring his family before Jesus, trusting Him even in the most difficult circumstances.

We thank God for the message shared by Motekiai Kite, reminding us of Jesus’ Great Commission: “Called to Go” (Matthew 28:16–20). As followers of Christ, we are not only called to believe, but to go, make disciples, and share the Good News wherever God places us.

It was wonderful to see so many of our church family together in person, worshipping, fellowshipping, and encouraging one another in the Lord.

May God bless each of you in the week ahead. Go in His strength, walk in His purpose, and remember that He is with you always.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19

We would like to congratulate and acknowledge our young people who proudly represented Tonga at the Wavell State High School Multicultural Concert.

A special mention goes to our very own Youth Leader Mutch, who served as the Punake for the group, and to Vaoloka for her leadership and support throughout the performance.

It was wonderful to see our young people sharing their culture with confidence and excellence, while making a positive contribution to the wider community. Moments like these remind us of the importance of using our gifts and talents to serve others and celebrate who we are.

As a church family, we are proud of each of you and pray that God continues to guide and bless your journeys.

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16

What a blessed Pentecostal Sunday service today at Sā Pita!

We were truly encouraged and uplifted through the sharing of the Word by Suliasi Aholelei from Acts 2:1–21 under the theme:

“‘Osi mai ‘a Langi he ‘ahoni”

Today reminded us that the Holy Spirit still moves, empowers, and transforms lives just as He did on the day of Pentecost. May we continue to walk boldly in faith, filled with His presence and guided by His Spirit each day.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in worship and fellowship today. It is always a blessing gathering together as one family in Christ.

It is our prayer that you all have a safe, joyful, and Spirit-filled week ahead.

What a blessing for our worship team to be part of the Wesleyan District Women’s Alive Event, “Join the Revival,” held at Axis Church.

It was so encouraging to see women from churches across the district come together with one heart — seeking Jesus and believing for transformation in our homes, churches, and communities. We were truly blessed by the powerful encouragement shared by Dr. Jeannie Trudel.

It was also a special time of fellowship for our men, spending time alongside our humble National Superintendent, Rev. Dr. Lex Akers.

God is moving, and we are grateful to witness His people united in worship, fellowship, and revival.

Sā Pita is so grateful to see so many kids and parents stepping out this year to learn a new skill through our Beginners Brass Band.

As we look across our Tongan community around Brisbane, it’s encouraging to see God raising a new generation willing to learn brass music to serve His Kingdom and our community. What a beautiful and powerful sight!

May God continue to bless and guide every learner, family, and tutor involved.

Youth was powerful tonight ❤️
The vibes were awesome, and it was amazing seeing our young people hungry for the Word and growing in Christ together.

Tonight’s theme was “Boldness Through the Holy Spirit” from Acts 2:1–21 — reminding us to stand boldly for God instead of folding to the pressures of the world. Just like Peter, the Holy Spirit can transform fear into boldness.

“But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice…” — Acts 2:14

Awesome to also welcome some new kids from Wavell State High tonight 🙌 Proud of everyone who came, got involved, and encouraged one another.

Excited for what God is doing in this generation. Malo fam ❤️

Today at Sā Pita, we were blessed to gather together as one church family to celebrate Tongan Father’s Day.

A special thank you to Setuata Semisi for today’s powerful message from John 17:1–11 reminding us to reflect on two important questions and actions in our walk with God and our families:

1. What’s your why?
2. Pay it forward.

As fathers, leaders, husbands, sons, and believers, may we continue to live with purpose, lead with love, and leave a legacy that points others to Christ.

We thank God for every father figure in our community — for your sacrifices, guidance, prayers, and service. May God continue to strengthen and bless you all abundantly.
