RE: Meetings, Studies, and Talks by the Yagoona Christadelphians to be held at the meeting hall.

All meetings have returned to the normal schedule, as follows -

• Sunday Memorial Meetings - 11:15 am
• Sunday Seminars (meetings) – 2.30 pm
• Wednesday Bible classes - 8 pm (Wednesdays)

All meetings will be broadcast via Zoom - a URL (web link) provides access to the meetings.

Meeting Times update.

Memorial meetings will continue on Sunday as usual at the hall and on Zoom. Please note that from the 12th Dec - 23rd Jan inclusive, the Memorial meeting will commence at the earlier time of 10am.

They will return to the 11.15am start on the 30th Jan 2022 (God Willing).

Sunday seminars are in recess until Sunday 30th January.
Wednesday Bible Classes are in recess until February.

Our annual study weekend commences on Friday 7th May, and will continue with 5 studies through to Sunday 9th May.

Our study leader is Bro Stephen Mansfield, who will speak to the theme 'Affirming the Absolutes', which is based on John's 1st epistle.

Please find attached a copy of the program. All meetings will be held at the hall as well as being broadcast on our Zoom channel.

Friday 7th – 8.00 pm. Study 1 – “Walk in the light”

Saturday 8th – 2.00 pm. Study 2 – “Be honest about sin”

Saturday 8th – 4.00 pm. Study 3 – “Purify your mind”

Saturday 8th – 6.00p pm. Tea.

Sunday 9th – 11.15 am (Exhortation). Study 4 – “Appreciate God’s love”

Sunday 9th – 1.30 pm. Lunch

Sunday 9th, 2.30 pm. Study 5 – “Be confident of the Zoe life”

Changed meeting times over the summer period.

Please note that our Sunday memorial meeting times will change over the summer holiday season.

Sunday Memorial Meeting - 10am start-time: inclusive from the 20th Dec to the 24th January. They will return to an 11:15am start time on Sunday 31st January.

Sunday seminars are in recess until Sunday 31st January.

Wednesday Bible Classes are in recess until Wed 3rd February.

Covid-19, return to the hall plan.

On Sunday 20th September, we are to again meet in the hall at Yagoona - 11.15 am. However, according to the Covid-19 regulations, only 100 people will be able to attend the hall at any one meeting (when using the upper and lower halls).

To facilitate this, we have divided the membership into 3 groups, with 2 groups attending on any Sunday and one connecting via Zoom. A rotating schedule is being used so that all will have the opportunity to attend.

At the moment, due to space regulations, visitors will be limited - but if you wish to come, please arrange with the recorder beforehand - [email protected]

Wednesday evening Bible classes will resume at the hall on the 30th of September, 8 pm.

All meetings will continue to be broadcast on Zoom.

RE: Meetings, Studies and Talks by the Yagoona Christadelphians.

Due to the recent (2020) Covid-19 changes implemented by the government, for the immediate future, we have decided to cancel group meetings at the Yagoona Hall. However, studies and memorial meetings will continue remotely, as follows.

Sunday Memorial Meetings (11:15 am) and Wednesday Bible classes (8 pm) will be broadcast via Zoom - a URL (web link) will be emailed before each class, which will provide access to the meetings.

Covid-19 - changes to Meeting times.

Due to the challenges posed by Covid-19 virus and recent legislation regarding gathering sizes, as of the 21st of March we have made the following changes - applicable for the near term.

Sunday Memorial Meetings.

Memorial Meetings will continue at the Hall, commencing at 11:15am. However, families will be asked to sit together, but apart from others, and numbers will be split between the upper and lower halls to maintain the spacing requirements.

A separate in-home meeting will be held by those who live in the North West of Sydney, which will keep the numbers meeting at Yagoona within the requirements.

The other option is to dial-in to the meeting, while meeting at home.

Shared lunches and Sunday afternoon seminars will be cancelled until further notice.

Bible classes will continue on Wednesday evenings, for the time being. We will assess the viability of this at a later date.

Sunday school will continue (29th March), although this matter will be reconsidered in the near future.

We respectfully suggest to our older members not to come to the meetings in person, but to dial-in. We also ask those who are sick or have flu-like symptoms not to come to the meeting. They can dial-in via the phone service. If you are sick, please consult with a medical professional.

Yagoona Study weekend 1st – 4th May, 2020

Because of the Covid-19 travel restrictions, this study will now be conducted by Zoom. It will follow the same study format that is detailed below, but the exact timing of these studies will be announced later. For more information, please contact the recorder.
