Are you striving or SOARING!

Whilst there is so much pressure to do strive for more and hustle and be active doing, is it bringing the internal results of peace, joy, abundance of life that Jesus promised us?

There is another way when we position ourselves from presence, HIS presence where soaring takes us higher to see His ways, from His ways and not our own.

He wants us to SOAR, on the wings of an eagle, the be strengthened, empowered to rise above the storms of life and not just survive but thrive!

Sometimes you just have to find a clear fresh space to get quiet, creative and focused!

Working on the writing of my new book, and yes it’s taking longer than I expected!

Although what I’m learning is it’s the journey on the way where even deeper revelations come, you can’t rush writing, you’ve got to sit in it. Pray over the words, study, rewrite and get in the flow of the spirit.

Any other writers out there know what I’m talking about! Love to hear your experiences, on how you get in the flow and where’s your favourite space to write. ✍️

Winter at Wellspring is always beautiful.
Green fields flourishing, drizzle of rain over the hills, but still beautiful views, warm cosy fires,
🔥 nothing like a good book, time to draw aside and just be in Gods presence and refresh.

When life gets in overload or overwhelm what do you do?

It’s so easy to become anxious and worried with everything going on in the world around us. Being consumed by news reports or even if there is overwhelm at work, home or in your heart and mind, there is one practise Jesus often did himself.

He withdrew. “But He Himself withdrew [in retirement] to the wilderness (desert) and prayed.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

Do you just keep going, pushing through or do you stop to acknowledge what your heart needs? ☺️

Is it time to come aside with God?
Be still and know Him in the midst of the chaos, the busyness of work, the voices crowding out Gods voice, the noise of the tv and even social media, to hear Gods voice, to worship and withdraw into solitude to just be with the Father.

This was Jesus go to, even in the midst of healing, feeding and being there for the crowds that sought Him.

He went to seek God above all, even He the son of God needed to, so why don’t we?

Find that space. Stop the hustle, turn off the noise and seek solitude with God, seek His presence and clarity of heart and mind will come.

It might be a walk, a coffee break in a quiet space, a mountainside retreat, a favourite chair at home, but find your space to come aside, I’m sure your heart, mind and body will thank you for it!
Be still O my soul. 🙏❤️
