Today's Bread: In this teaching, Pastor Sbanga leans in and tackles something that quietly torments so many believers — the guilt of sin and the fear of punishment. He says what most people never hear in church: God is not guilt‑trapping you.

Pastor Sbanga walks us through John 3:16–17 and shows us that when God sent Jesus, He didn’t send Him to condemn the world or to highlight people’s failures. He sent Him to save, to lift guilt off your shoulders, and to reveal a love that doesn’t shame you into change — it rescues you into it.

Then he opens John 5:24 and explains that when you believe the message of the Gospel — truly believe it — something powerful happens inside you. You cross over from death to life, from fear to confidence, from self‑dependence to God‑dependence. And as that awareness takes root, your behaviour begins to shift naturally. Not through pressure… but through revelation.

Pastor Sbanga unpacks how condemnation keeps believers stuck, afraid, and spiritually exhausted — and how the Good News frees you from that inner torment. God wants you to know you are forgiven, loved, and saved from yourself — from relying on your own strength instead of His grace.

Meet our guest speaker - Pastor Bec Daminiopolous
She and her husband Aaron are associate Pastors at Glory City Church in Brisbane. She also runs the Glory City Women’s ministry.

Bec was ordained in 2017 as a prophet by the Australian Prophetic Council. God uses her mightily in the prophetic. She is also passionate about people hearing the voice of God and knowing who they are in Christ.
