To our welcome event this Sunday.

If you’re looking for a new Church or have been coming to Wynnum Baptist for a bit and are thinking about making it home, then this event is for you.

This is a time to snack, enjoy the winter sun, learn about the church, and casually chat with some our church and pastors.

We’ll also be doing a walk through of the church for anyone interested.

Prayer isn’t about trying to reach a God who is far away.

It’s learning to recognise and speak with the God who has already come near.

Because of Jesus, we don’t worship from a distance. We don’t pray hoping our words somehow make it to Him. We pray to the One who is here with us, who dwells with us, walks with us, and speaks to us.

That changes everything.

God is not far. He is here.
