Our next Troubadour Performers Concert is on 13th June at Empire Bay. We've had lots of positive feedback after our last "unplugged" concert so we've decided to give our sound team the night off again and run our June concert unplugged. If any instrumentalists need to, they are welcome to bring their own amp and plug in. The rest of us will take advantage of the beautiful acoustics of our 100 year old hall. There are still a few 15 minute spots available. To book in, contact MaryAnne on 0407 917 117. 🎸🎶🎵😊

I like to share the email we received from Gregory North.
Many of you might have been to his show. BTW our attendance was 100!!

"I wanted to thank you, Troubadour Folk Club and Brisbane Water Historical Society for hosting one of the early shows of the tour.

During my re-enactment I performed 64 shows in 60 towns through 4 states and New Zealand, had 45 people per show on average and attracted over 2890 people in total audience. I did 5 shows in the same venues that Banjo used on his tour 125 years earlier, drove over 18,000 km (plus NZ cruise and flight), had 1 car breakdown, 1 tyre replacement, 1 parking fine, 1 magpie invasion, lots of happy people and a feeling of accomplishment.

Thank you for the part you played. It is greatly appreciated.
