Thinking of our neighbours at the Mater Hospital and the Children’s Hospital, as well as all local clinics in our area ❤️

We often pray for the sick, and perhaps we need to pray just as often for the people who do the healing work of Jesus Christ in our hospitals. Here is a sample you could adapt to your context. It could also be included in a more expansive healing service.

A prayer for our hospitals

God of healing and peace,
bless the people and programmes of our hospitals.
Bless the nurses, doctors, surgeons,
physios, anaesthetists, pharmacists,
indigenous health workers,
cleaners, caterers, aides and orderlies.
Work your wonders of healing
through their skill and tenderness.
Give them pride in the part they play
in relieving pain, calming fears,
saving lives, supporting change.
Make us faithful in praying for them,
as well as for the sick,
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

HAPPY QUEENSLAND DAY!!

We hope everyone has a lovely day today celebrating all things Queensland! We celebrated earlier this week during our monthly Wednesday Fellowship service.

FELLOWSHIP a very good attendance this month, We celebrated an Early Queensland Day, shared stories of Our ancestors, the beginnings of family life here, choosing a new country and city to work and live, Why Queensland was called by its name. Thank you to all who contributed to the morning it was truly appreciated!

Last Sunday we Celebrated Trinity Sunday ⛪ with Worship🙏 Hymns🎶 and welcomed little Master W into ✝ Christ's Family through his BAPTISM. A delicious Morning Tea was enjoyed by all, and Revd Rosemary did our Traditional cutting of the Trinity Cake.

What an amazing effort!! This month at Fellowship we participated in Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea in support of the Cancer Council.

Thank you to everyone who was able to donate - we raised a total $223 to support the Cancer Council and those impacted by cancer
