Last Friday, 40 singles from different Christian denominations came together for the very first time for a wonderful evening of friendship, conversation and fellowship. ❤️

It was an opportunity not only to meet new people and build meaningful connections, but also to share experiences and reflect on what it means to live the single life in the light of Christian faith. 🙏

We were delighted to welcome Bishop Tony Percy, Auxiliary Bishop of Sydney, who joined us for this special occasion. ⛪️

The evening was organised by Fr Mirko Integlia as the beginning of a new initiative aimed at creating a welcoming space where single Christians can connect, support one another and grow together in faith. ✝️

And this is just the beginning! 🎉 Our next gathering is already being planned for before Christmas. 🎄

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this first evening such a joyful and memorable experience!

St Carlo Acutis is coming to Holy Cross!

Join us on Saturday, 17 October, for the visit of a first class major relic of St Carlo Acutis, as part of the 2026 pilgrimage across Australia.

Come and venerate the relic, receive an individual blessing, spend time in Adoration, and join us for Mass and Catechesis throughout the day.

Join us for a weekend celebrating 120 years of Holy Cross Parish: Adoration, Festival Mass, and a family fun day with food, inflatables, an animal farm, and a magician. Entry by free donation.

Saturday 12 September:
🕖 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM — Adoration of the Cross (Holy Cross Church)
Begin the festival weekend with an hour of prayer and thanksgiving , honouring the Cross at the heart of our parish’s story.

Sunday 13 September:
🕙 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM — Festival Holy Mass (Holy Cross Church)
A solemn Mass of thanksgiving for 120 years of parish life. All are welcome.

🕛 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM — Community Festival (Holy Cross School Grounds)
A festive afternoon for the whole family:
Lunch, drinks & pizza
Inflatables for the kids
Mobile animal farm
Live magician

Entry is by free donation — give what you can, and come as you are. Every contribution supports the life and mission of our parish as we begin our next chapter after 120 years.
