Join us at our Logan Church as we continue with our series, Acts: Season 3. This week Pastor Henry reminds us that followers of Jesus can speak with courage because they answer to Christ before culture. True courage is not something we create on our own, but instead is a gift the Holy Spirit fills us with when we make ourselves available. Even when faced with opposition, culture, or difficult conversations with loved ones, prayer should be our immediate first response to pressure rather than a last resort. You don’t have to wait until you feel fully qualified to serve God – reflect on where the Holy Spirit might be calling you to speak His word with boldness.

Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders, if we are being examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed, let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by him this man is standing before you well. – Acts 4:8-10 (ESV)

Join us at our Logan Church as we commence our new series, Acts: Season 3. This week Stephanie Tofae explores the danger of “borrowed faith” versus building a authentic personal relationship with God. Be challenged to move past spiritual performances, outward appearances, and relying on someone else’s revelation. Instead, Invite Jesus into every hidden area, and close the door on spiritual shortcuts so you can walk in true freedom and genuine connection with Him.

Then some of the itinerant Jewish exorcists undertook to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who had evil spirits, saying, “I adjure you by the Jesus whom Paul proclaims.” Seven sons of a Jewish high priest named Sceva were doing this. But the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I recognize, but who are you?” – Acts 19:11-15 (ESV)

Join us at our Logan Church as we commence our new series, Acts: Season 3. This week Pastor Henry reminds us that God builds His mission through a network of different people with unique roles rather than through a solo effort. We can recognise our daily workplaces, campuses, and neighbourhoods are where ministry truly happens as we embrace our specific callings without trying to step into someone else’s lane. So let’s reflect on who God has placed in your corner, in your circle, and coming behind you, actively stepping towards others relationally as a partner in God’s kingdom.

After this, Paul stayed many days longer and then took leave of the brothers and set sail for Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila. At Cenchreae he had cut his hair, for he was under a vow. And they came to Ephesus, and he left them there, but he himself went into the synagogue and reasoned with the Jews. When they asked him to stay for a longer period, he declined. But on taking leave of them he said, “I will return to you if God wills,” and he set sail from Ephesus. – Acts 18:18-21 (ESV)

Join us at our Logan Church as we commence our new series, Acts: Season 3. This week Pastor Henry challenges us how we respond when we see brokenness in our city. We are encouraged to move beyond anger, numbness, or despair and allow our internal distress to push us into active, patient daily engagement with the people around us. Let God’s Word first transform you from the inside out, so that His love, grace, and compassion can flow naturally through you into every room and conversation you enter.

For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription: ‘To the unknown god.’ What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. – ACTS 17:23-25 (ESV)
