This survey is to vote for which one of the candidates below to manage the Muslim Students Association at the University of Wollongong (MAWU) for the year 2024.

Assalamu Alaikum,
Dear MAWU members,
MAWU announces that the annual election for the new executive team members for the year 2024 has started.
If you see yourself suitable for the presidential position, you can nominate yourself and 3 other team members as follows:
1. Vice-president.
2. Secretary.
3. Treasurer.
IMPORTANT: The nominated president and the vice president must have at least one year left in their degree at UOW.
To nominate yourself and your executive team, please send a formal request via email to the current president’s email

Before 5 PM on 14th of November 2023
Candidates and members will be informed of the election date.
May Allah SWT reward you immensely.

📮 أغلبنا يقرأ نهاية كل أسبوع سورة الكهف، هل لاحظتم كلمات النهي العشر (لا) ستجعلك تتدبر أكثر ..

🔻 اللاء الأولى:
﴿فَلَا تُمَارِ فِيهِمْ إِلَّا مِرَآءً ظَٰهِرًا﴾ (الآية ٢٢).
في نقاشك مع الناس لا تدعي إمتلاك الحقيقة، ولا تجادل جدالاً عقيماً.

🔻 اللاء الثانية:
﴿وَلَا تَسْتَفْتِ فِيهِم مِّنْهُمْ أَحَدًا﴾ (الآية ٢٢).
فيما يُشكل عليك من أمور لا تطلب الفتوى من شخص غابت عنه حقيقة ذاك الشيء أو يرفض الحق.

🔻 اللاء الثالثة:
﴿وَلَا تَقُولَنَّ لِشَىْءٍ إِنِّى فَاعِلٌ ذَٰلِكَ غَدًا إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ﴾ الآيتان (٢٣ / ٢٤).
وأنت تخطط لا توعِدْ نفسك أو غيرك بعمل شيء في المستقبل دون أن تعلق الأمر على مشيئة الله.

🔻 اللاء الرابعة:
﴿وَلَا تَعْدُ عَيْنَاكَ عَنْهُمْ تُرِيدُ زِينَةَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا﴾ (الآية ٢٨).
وأنت تسير مع الصالحين لا تصرف نظرك عنهم لغيرهم طمعاً بالدنيا.

🔻 اللاء الخامسة:
﴿وَلَا تُطِعْ مَنْ أَغْفَلْنَا قَلْبَهُۥ عَن ذِكْرِنَا وَٱتَّبَعَ هَوَاهُ وَكَانَ أَمْرُهُۥ فُرُطًا﴾ (الآية ٢٨).
خفف من كل شيء لا يقربك إلى الله؛ لأنه يشغلك لا تُطِعْ من كان غافلا عن ذكر الله وآثَرَ هواه على طاعة مولاه، وصار أمره في أعماله ضياعًا وهلاكًا.

🔻 اللاء السادسة:
﴿فلَا تَسْـَٔألنى عَن شَىْءٍ حَتَّىٰٓ أُحْدِثَ لَكَ مِنْهُ ذِكْرًا﴾ (الآية ٧٠).
في ممارستك لفضولك المعرفي لا تستعجل بالسؤال قبل أن تُستكمل لك تفاصيله.

🔻 اللاء السابعة:
﴿لَا تُؤَاخِذْنِى بِمَا نَسِيتُ﴾ (الآية ٧٣).
تذكر أنهم بشر فلا تحاسبهم على نسيانهم أو ما استُكرهوا عليه.

🔻 اللاء الثامنة:
﴿وَلَا تُرْهِقْنِي مِنْ أَمْرِى عُسْرًا﴾ (الآية ٧٣).
لكل شخص قدرة وطاقة استيعابية فلا تطلب منه ما لا يستطع تحمّله وعمله.

🔻 اللاء التاسعة:
﴿فَلَا تُصاحِبني قَد بَلَغتَ مِن لَدُنّي عُذرًا﴾ (الآية ٧٦).
لا تصاحب من استنفذت معه كل الوسائل..

🔻 بقيت (لاءٌ) أخيرة تُضاف إلى تلك اللاءات التسعة ألا وهي اللاء العاشرة وهي خاتمة هذه اللاءات ومِسْكُها في آخر آية من آيات سورة الكهف:
(قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُوحَىٰ إِلَيَّ أَنَّمَا إِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ ۖ فَمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو لِقَاءَ رَبِّهِ فَلْيَعْمَلْ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا وَلَا يُشْرِكْ بِعِبَادَةِ رَبِّهِ أَحَدًا) (110)}

📌فإن كانت اللاءات التسعة تعتني بتربية المؤمن وتوجيهاته الإيمانية مع من حوله من الناس

📌فإن اللاء العاشرة جاءت وخُصت علاقة عمل المؤمن بمدى إخلاصه لربه؛ لتشترط قبول العمل الصالح بألا يراد به إلا وجه الله وحده لا شريك له.

تقبل الله أعمالنا ورزقنا وإياكم حسن التدبر في آيات القرآن والعمل به.

Masjid As-Salaam and House of Saqada are teaming up for another clothing and footwear collection for Africa. Both preloved and new items are welcome.

🕐Time: between the hours of 10 am and 1pm

📍Location: Masjid As-Salaam, 46 Berkeley Rd Berkeley.
