Australian Pastoral Musicians Network We see this national association having a significant role in evangelisation and the development and growth of a vibrant Church in Australia.

APMN supports dioceses and Christian worshipping communities through promoting excellence in liturgical, catechetical and religious music, with a special focus on supporting the use of Australian composers - networking, representing, guiding and forming. Our vision is for a national association, with regional chapters and special interest sections, providing networking and support for its members

through a website, a web-based members-only discussion forum and resource sharing centre, a regular e-newsletter, chapter meetings facilitated by regional conveners, section meetings facilitated by interest area specialists, annual general meetings, workshops and bi-annual conferences. The great Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ, Corpus Christi, is coming up next weekend. This may be one hymn to add to the repertoire and comes from the great Steve Warner:

Make of our hands a throne
to hold the bread of heaven.
Make of our hearts a home
to hold the very wine of life.
In this mystery, Lord,
make us one with you.

Make of Our Hands A Throne by Steven C. Warner, Printed Music.

Great advice and resources here from Willow Publishing. You can also check out the excellent Responsorial Psalm collections from Liturgical Song. Common Psalms offer a way to build your repertoire and sing God’s living word into memory each week:

The Responsorial Psalm is more than a song within the Mass. It is a prayerful response to the Word of God, helping the assembly reflect, listen, and take the message of Scripture to heart.

This Willow Publishing article offers gentle guidance for music ministers as they choose and lead psalm settings with care, clarity, and reverence.
