What a powerful and insightful message on recognising the lies of the enemy, understanding how they can affect us, and learning how to overcome them!

A huge thank you to Ps Jason & Ps Phil for coming in early and taking the time to cook up a crackin’ breakfast for Father's day! 🥓🍳☕️

Today we honoured and thanked Joel & Kiersten for all that they do for our church family. 🤍

For those who don’t know Joel & Kiersten, they are some of our amazing Youth Leaders, Sound & Media Leaders, and Connect Group Leaders!
They pour so much of their heart, time and energy into serving our church, and they have such huge hearts for the body of Christ.

We are so incredibly grateful for all that they do and, most importantly, for who they are. We’re so blessed to have you both serving our church family!

Happy Father’s Day to all our wonderful dads! ❤️

To the moments when you feel like pulling your hair out and wonder, “What on earth were my kids thinking?” 😂

To the belly laughs with your kids that leave your stomach aching. To the pick-ups, the drop-offs, the early mornings and late nights. To the hours spent in Emergency because one of your kids has sprained something or broken yet another bone after telling them for the 10th time not to do that backflip on the trampoline. And to the dads who intentionally pour their relationship with the Lord into the next generation.

Whether it's a father figure, a spiritual father or your dad, fathers play such a significant role in shaping who we are and who we become. Through nurturing, guiding, maturing, protecting and simply setting an example, fathers help build a foundation for the next generation.

A father is a safe place to run to. Someone who encourages, teaches, loves and walks alongside us.

So, on behalf of all the kids — thank you, dads! 🙌

We honour you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you today.

Enjoy the brekkie, fellas! 🥓🍳☕️

Calling All Dads! 👋

Join us this Father’s Day for a BBQ Brekkie at 9AM before church as we celebrate and honour all the amazing fathers and father figures in our lives! 🥓🍳☕️

Come with an appetite and bring a mate!

Whether you’re a dad, a spiritual father, a father figure, or you’re visiting for the first time and want to meet some of the men in our church — you’re welcome!

And we know Father’s Day can be a difficult day for some. If you’ve lost your dad or this day brings up mixed emotions, you don’t have to walk through it alone. Come as you are and be surrounded by care, love and community. ❤️

2 Corinthians 5:17

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

The Lord has called you out of the old and into the new!

That means the cape of shame, guilt, fear, and addiction no longer has authority over your life.

You don’t have to carry what Christ has already set you free from.

The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy. He will try to steal your hope, kill your calling, and destroy your relationship with the Lord.

But remember: the enemy does not have the final say over your life.

Do not give him power by agreeing with the lies he tells you about who you were before Christ.

When the enemy reminds you of your past, remind him of his future.

The old you has died. You have been made new in Christ!

You are not defined by your past, your failures, your shame, or the things you once struggled with.

You are defined by who Christ says you are.

Ephesians 4:23–24

“...to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.”

Take off the old.
Put on the new.
Walk in who God has called you to be.

Your words carry weight — real, creative, world‑shaping weight. God spoke, and the universe responded. That same God breathed His image into you, which means your voice matters more than you often realise.

Speak life.

Speak truth.
Speak encouragement over yourself and over the people God has placed around you.

Every word you choose plants a seed. Some grow into strength, courage, and healing. Others wither. Today, choose to sow what brings life. Choose to echo the God who spoke creation into being.

You have the power to shift atmospheres with your tongue. Use it boldly, lovingly, and intentionally. Your words can build futures. Your words can lift weary hearts. Your words can remind someone — including yourself — of who God says they are.

Keep speaking life. It matters. It bears fruit. And it changes things.

What a powerful morning at church!

Worship was on fire as we lifted our voices declaring how great our Lord is!

A moving and powerful testimony was shared by one of our church family, reminding us of the redeeming nature of our God and His power to restore and transform our lives.

Our wonderful Lisa followed with a gripping message as we wrapped up Week 8 of our “Undivided Heart” series, “The Idols of the Heart.” 🔥 A good reminder to examine what holds our hearts and keep Jesus at the centre.
