SATURDAY OF THE SOULS

Tomorrow is one of the two Saturdays of the year dedicated to the dead.

On the day before Pentecost the Church commemorates and prays for all Orthodox Christians who have fallen asleep in the Lord - ancestors, spouses, children and friends.

The Faithful bring lists of names to be read by the priest during the Memorial Service at the end of the Divine Liturgy as we all pray together to God for their eternal salvation.

Matins and Divine Liturgy- 8 - 10.30 am.
