Although we are a New Creation in Christ, there seems to be a deposit of the Old Man that seems to be a hang on from our past life that raises its ugly head at times and we find ourselves to be ensnared again. This is a lie from our past and we must understand.

Isaiah 35 tells us that God will lead us along a Highway of Holiness where we are completely safe from the attacks of the enemy and walk in the fullness of the power of God in the state of Holiness that He provides for us, just as He has imputed Righteousness to us through the sacrifice of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

This scripture clearly telles is that we are not to walk any longer in the Old Man and his ways but to walk as Christ in the newness of life.
