Why does God allow war, suffering, persecution, and uncertainty?

The visions of Revelation 6–7 confront us with the realities of war, famine, death, and suffering. Yet they also reveal a God who reigns absolutely over history and a Saviour who will bring his people safely home.

Guest Sunday | 28 June | 10:30am

We all know what it feels like to be away from home—and what a joy it is to be welcomed back.

On Guest Sunday at Grace Presbyterian Church, we'll be exploring one of Jesus' most loved stories from Luke 15, where we discover a God who delights to welcome people home.

Whether church has been part of your life, or you've never really considered who Jesus is, we'd love to meet you. Bring a friend, family member, neighbour, or come along yourself.

📍 11–17 Melrose Drive, Wodonga
🕥 10:30am
☕ Morning tea follows the service

Coming home when you're already welcome.

Who is really on the throne of the universe?
Revelation 4–5 lifts our eyes above the chaos of earth to the throne room of heaven — where God reigns in holiness and the Lamb who was slain is declared worthy of all worship.

The centre of history is not politics, fear, or uncertainty.
The centre is the throne… and the Lamb.

What if the biggest spiritual danger isn't doubt or failure — but thinking you're doing just fine?
This Sunday, we open the last of Jesus' seven letters to his churches. He finds a wealthy, established, respected congregation, but Jesus is being left standing outside, knocking on the door. Will they let Him in?
Join us as we look at Revelation 3:14–22 — and ask honestly: is Christ inside or outside the door of our lives?

The book of Revelation is the living Lord Jesus unveiling Himself to us as the reigning Lord of history, so that His people endure with hope, worship with joy, and remain faithful until He returns. If you read Revelation and you end up speculating or anxious, or you don’t love Christ with renewed courage for faithfulness, you’re reading it wrong.
