Our local community will come together for the 2026 Ecumenical World Day of Prayer this Friday, 6 March at 9:30am at the Maleny Catholic Church. This year’s service will focus on Nigeria. Everyone is warmly welcome, and morning tea will be shared after the service. We’d love you to join us!

Lent begins on 18 February. It’s a season many people use to "declutter" their hearts to make more room for God in preparation for Easter. Wherever you are on your own journey, may this season point you toward the cross and Jesus’ love.

In more than 130 years, we don’t believe Good Shepherd has ever been blessed with a floral display like we enjoyed today. A heartfelt thank‑you to K. for her stunning Japanese flower art (Ikebana) which brought such beauty to our worship service.

More than 130 people gathered on 22 December for Good Shepherd’s Community Carols by Candlelight. What a joy to see everyone united in song! Sincere thanks to the wonderful singers who led us so beautifully, and to Pastor Matt for guiding the evening. Glory to God in the highest! Wishing you all a blessed Christmas filled with peace, joy, and love.

Today at Good Shepherd we celebrated the first Sunday of Advent by lighting the Hope candle on our Advent wreath. Each week we’ll light a new candle - Peace, Joy, and Love - until Christmas Day, when the white Christ candle is lit to remind us of Christ’s light in the world.
